Don’t use this company
Ordered 1 sheet of stickers that I couldn't find anywhere else. When I didn't receive them or even see that they shipped I called.
Had to call several times before they answered. I was told it shipped and would be here after the date I needed them. I told her I was disappointed because I needed them sooner, so she told me she would cancel the order because it actually hadn't shipped.
She flat out lied when she told me it had already shipped. Not nice!
Preferred solution: Full refund
Terrible Customer Service
No response for multiple inquiries about a specific product through the website. After it was "answered" via e-mail, the product was ordered and wasn't as described. No ability of customer service to resolve the issue, so had to file fraud forms with the bank.
Customer Service Did Not Honor Word
On Monday, April 22nd, I ordered some plates and napkins that I need for a bingo game at my home. I forgot to include the cups after I paid for the plates and napkins.
I called within 15 minutes of placing the order AND sent something to customer service through their site. I then called again and was advised to forward them the info and they would combine the orders and refund me the shipping cost that I paid for a two to four day turnaround. I followed instructions, sent the info. Sent correspondence asking to combine the orders and refund the shipping.
They won't respond. They won't answer the phone. I sent about 4 request and I've called several times. Their website assures you that someone will contact you shortly, well, that hasn't happened.
If my bingo was scheduled for next week, I'd return these items, and go to Arne's and pay the cost. I'm BIG...on customer service and I think that you word should be your bond. I pay $10 shipping for some cups that cost me about $5 bucks. I paid $10 shipping for the first order as well.
So a total of $20 shipping for 3 items. Learning lesson for me.

Horrible customer service, or should I say NO service. After stiffing me 3 short on bobble heads, after I paid for expedited shipping, they ignored my 3 emails to fix.
If you call the toll free number nobody ever answers, they just tell you to email, which they just ignore. If you're lucky and your order came with no issues, I guess they'd be fine since the prices are decent.
But otherwise, I'd stick with other sites. avoid avoid avoid

Arrived late, made me pay for return shipping, poor customer service
I was very excited about my order and even designed my son's cake to match the dinosaur plates I ordered. The order didn't arrive by the shipping date the USPS noted, so I called the company the day before the party and asked if they knew where it might be.
The woman I spoke to said that it was probably lost in the mail but that they had until 6:30pm to deliver it. She said if it was not delivered by that time I should purchase new supplies at my local party store and that they would reimburse me for my order including return shipping. After not receiving the order, I did purchase new supplies after 6:30pm. Less that one hour before my party began the next day, the order arrived, but I had already opened all the new paper products and made up the favor bags with my new supplies.
When I called to get my money refunded, they said I had to pay for return shipping. The new woman I spoke to said that my order wasn't guaranteed to be delivered until the following Monday (although this was no where in writing.) She said one of her employees must have been mistaken in telling me they would refund the money and that she had a few new employees. She was unwilling to rectify the situation, and I am stuck with paying return shipping on a large box of supplies that I can not use. This also left me with a cake that didn't match any of my decorations and a lot of stress in shopping right before a party.
I would not recommend their service again due to their poor customer service. They should remember that the "customer is always right," especially when they admitted that their own employees had make the mistake.
I will not be using their services again.
DON'T ORDER FROM DISCOUNT PARTY SUPPLIES
You order on Saturday, you wanna cancel your order? They aren't open on saturday and sunday, so You have to wait till Monday, wait till Monday and your order conveniently gets ship and no way to stop or return...
Wanna return when you get your order? You can return get your money back for the order but not shipping and probably still have to pay for restocking. My order was only $21, paid for shipping $30...
Worst customer service ever, emailed them on saturday didn't respond till monday. email or phone call shouldn't be an option if you won't get help till its too late, wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy!!!
Discount Party Supplies is a RIP OFF
We ordered $169.41 worth of party supplies from this company, when we received it we refused it.
We subsequently got a credit for $86.32, $83.09 less than we paid.
The company tells us that we were charged shpping of $11.99 both ways and a 30% restocking fee was accessed because the shipment was refused.
They pointed out that their web site specifically states about the 30% restocking fee, but that is not where anyone refusing an order would go before doing so, and besides it is unusual, at best, and absurd at the least!
I have NEVER known any other company that has such a rule.
The lady told me that she called us after finding out from UPS that the shipment and that she specifically told us about the 30% restocking fee, but her havng told us about that after we had refused it, is like closing the barn door after the horse has left.
They claim to have the best customer service in the party industry, but I consider them theives.
Avoid them with the plague!!!!!
