Did some reviews on Direct before hiring, saw the reviews and voiced my concerns to Direct Roofing Solutions, Austin said he wouldnt take any money until the job was completed and i was totally satisfied. I took the chance and everything turned out amazing.

Took the crew 10 days to complete the job in full. Included siding, windows, roof, and gutters. Roof alone only took a day. They have gotten back on their A Game.

Have recommended to 3 other family and friends that are satisfied as well. Thanks Again Austin!

we went out on a service call by Austin Hussey and performed HVAC Work on one of his projects and now he hasn't paid the bill and wont return our calls. We have tried to contact him on many occasions and some of his numbers are now disconnected.

Obviously he is avoiding this.

DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN TO REPLACE YOUR ROOF. I chose Austin Hussey and Direct Roofing Solutions to fix my house after a massive hail storm in May 2012.

They started off okay, however, then I got a story about the roofing crew getting in a car accident and they could not finish today. A different crew came out in a couple days. The job they did on the rest of my shingled roof is poor- the felt paper is creased in places and the shingles are not flat. Another part of my roof requires flat roof materials.

The crew completely ruined both the roofing material and the installation. They also did not finish. While Austin tried to finish the job himself, he did an unacceptable job. At this point, he got a different crew to put on a different flat roof which he had installed on top of the original badly installed product.

Up until this point, I believe he did his best to take responsibility and make up for the circumstances. However, THIS IS WHERE IT BECAME EXTREMELY UNACCEPTABLE. This second job on the flat roof was never finished by his crew. I had to use duct tape so that rain would not ruin the inside and walls of my house.

When I spoke to him on the phone, he said something close to, "Well I assumed they finished because they said they did." He as the contractor did NOT responsibly oversee the completion. I let three months pass. At this point, I had no choice but to hire a company to finish the job- and Red River Roofing did a wonderful job- thank you Chris. The bill was ca.

$3400. I submitted this bill to Austin Hussey and told him I had no choice but to go ahead with somebody else because he 1) DID NOT FINISH THE JOB, and 2) DID NOT FOLLOW UP WITH HIS WARRANTY, a document in writing to which he is legally bound. He refuses to pay me. I do not have time to go to court.

This is how I can make sure nobody else is a casualty of Austin Hussey's lack of professionalism. DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN.
