Bad Practices if you Die

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • - Claims people die at Dignity Health hospitals and are covered up.
  • - Bodies are sent to off-site freezer without notifying officials or loved ones.

People pass away at the hospitals managed by Dignity Health and the hospitals cover it up and send people to an off-site freezer without notifying County officials and loved ones. This is a disgusting practice... Maybe they should be called No Dignity Health.

User's recommendation: Don't go by yourself.

Regarding Dr. Skinner and Dr Mosharafian

AI Highlights
  • - Dr Skinner refused opioids and changed my statin.
  • - She spoke rudely; my blood pressure spiked.
  • - I want a new doctor; I miss Dr Lundquist.

Firstly my Dr of yrs left Digity health in Camarillo. He was a great Dr.

But then I get Dr Skinner. First time I see her she came barreling in exam room to tell me she won't write opiods. Mind you I have fractured my back among other major things in my back n neck. I still haven't gotten a pain Dr to write my meds.

Instead she decided she didn't like my statin so she changed it. Turns out I'm allergic to the one she gives me. I went into exam room with 80/65 and she decided to take my BP again. I have never let anyone speak to me that way.

I stayed composed. I was fuming underneath n my low BP turned to 195/60 I have never had blood pressure that high. I have numerous things health wise pretty bad. I call and ask for another primary Dr.

They give me a zoom appt with Dr Mosharafian for the following day. I had gotten dizzy on Saturday Morning n fell in bathroom like dead weight I broke my tailbone. Dr Skinner gave me the wrong milligrams for my aniexty med n didnt give me the cyclobenzapr for muscle spasms. I tried tell Dr Mosharafian this.

I had a allergic reaction from the liptor Dr Skinner changed my statin. She wanted to change my heart meds too but I said I will see my cardiologist. Dr Mosharafian decides to tell me he has patients to see. I was on zoom waiting for him and I was repeatedly told he has patients.

I just told him I broke my tailbone and about my medications. Neither of these drs couldn't give a *** about what I am telling them. This is what dignity health Drs do to their patients. Try to bully me and other had more important patients then me.

I already miss my primary Dr Lundquist. He listened to me. He knew I was telling the truth. We took long time to get all my meds in place.

These two drs shouldn't be drs. They forgot to listen to the patient you don't bully a patienton zoom or in person. I'm tramatized now. I don't want either of these drs as my primary.

I'm the one who got treated as a five yr old when I'm 57. I let the rudeness go but neither one couldn't bother to even listen to me. I don't want either of them near my health records or me. They are the worse drs I have ever had.

They should be ashamed. I rather do with out my meds then to ever see them again. I'm no pansy either. I'm a NYC woman.

I walked out of the office with chest pain.

Tonight I feel like I have a elephant on my chest and I'm a heart patient. Shame on dignity for allowing this type of behavior.

Cons:
  • Right now im not seeing any pros

Preferred solution: I wasted my time going there and wastes my time waiting for this zoom appt

User's recommendation: No one should deal with these two drs in Camarillo on verdugo.

Humiliating nursing care by Jeanne Kovarik R.N.

AI Highlights
  • - Still had some anesthesia onboard.
  • - Jeanne Kovarik RN said, "Hey you guys, come here, and look at these feet!" and she thought I was deeply asleep.

Still had some anesthesia onboard, but was awake enough to hear Jeanne Kovarik R.N. say very loudly, "Hey you guys, come here, and look at these feet!" She obviously thought I was deeply asleep. She would probably still think this is funny, but it was anything, but funny to me.

User's recommendation: Avoid this R.N., and the facility she works in.

Scary/Appalled/Disgusted

AI Highlights
  • - ER is chaotic, archaic, and impersonal.
  • - Patients are called by name and left waiting, with little help, and HIPPA violations observed.

I am currently sitting in the ER for the second time this week with my sister. They have the most archaic, chaotic and impersonal approach to managing an ER.

I know this because I have managed a level 1 Trauma center. People are put in a holding pattern, staff come out and literally YELL the names of patients, then stand there and watch as they try to stand, try to walk or move in their direction.

This alone must hit their throughput numbers, just the waiting....do they offer help? No, not on their protocol list.

Every HIPPA law has been violated in the two hours I have been here.

How can these people be proud to work here?

Almost total lack of care in ER.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • - Spent 6 hours in the Siena Campus ER waiting area; no doctor saw me.
  • - An armed guard blocked entry; no results or doctor visit; billed $3,953.78.

April 1, 2017 I was in extreme pain and couldn't walk. Went to the ER at Siena Campus for x-rays.

Waited 6 hours to get them and suffer in pain without being taken into the actual Emergency Room, which had an ARMED guard keeping everyone out. In my 6 hrs. I saw a clerk, nursing assistant, guard and x-ray technician, NO DOCTOR! They had a Triage room but I never got in there either.

After 6 hrs. and no-one giving me the results of my x-rays or even a Tylenol and they refused to allow me to speak with a Nurse or a Doctor, I left.

They billed my insurance and me $3953.78! Would have thought for just under 4 grand they would have let me see a Doctor!

Cons:
  • Ignored 6 hrs and never getting into an er or being seen by md

Preferred solution: Price reduction
