Beware purchasing a "Cozy Trike" from epizontech.com
This review is about the people who sell this bike. The bike itself is OK, although badly welded and painted.
The problem is, other than placing an order you cannot contact this company AT ALL. They have a very nice website with everything on it to lure a customer in (phone number, email, etc.) but it's all fake. Call the number and it directs you to their website to send an email and disconnects you. Send an email - they don't respond and tell you, next to the form you send them that if you send another email it will go directly to spam!
My problem. I ordered the trike with the boosted power supply. My delivered order didn't mention the power boost and the power supply has absolutely no information(name ,product, etc. on it).
I tried calling and emailing (see above) with my question =-NO RESPONSE (I paid almost three hundred dollars extra for the power supply) Two months after my purchase I received a bill in the mail for a shipping charge of $125.00 for "needing a lift gate" on the shipment - it wasn't my shipment but one shipped out September 5 and delivered Sept 6th - no need to worry about paying though, they assured us, they had our credit card on file and would charge us for it (they did) I tried calling again (see above) and although promised on their website a response to emails "within 24 to 48hrs) it has been two months waiting for a reply on my first email and a week on my second - even though this time I warned them I would be making as much noise as I can about their non existent service if they didn't respond within 72hrs. By the way - they offered "free shipping" and as the product weighs over 75lbs I'm not sure how they can load it on a truck without a lift gate!

I have gotten the same non-response in regards to several issues. I have also run into check Kiting.
Where I send them a check number to use for my order for parts and they issue different check number and higher prices than quoted. I sent emails, no phone number listed for company, to no avail.
Despite the picture of many happy American-looking employees I believe this is a small time operation a few Chinamen scamming us. They claim to have everything in stock but my trike came direct from China.
07/05/2018I have 1 for the books Re: purchasing a CozyTike from Epizon-Tech.I have a mind boggling consumer problem. I can hardly believe it myself.
On May 24th, I purchased a high end mobility scooter ($2190) from Walmart.com and fulfilled by one of their vendor’s, Epizon-Tech. Order # Order #415187*-***147.I live in an elderly apt building, so I had it delivered next door (w/ his permission of course) as it required uncrating and assembly.I am just a single female in a wheelchair & cud handle neither on my own. From day 1, that scooter HAS NOT RUN for more than an intermittent few minutes here & there. Rite now it is in my bedroom, dead as a doornail.I’ve chatted w/ Walmart.com’s escalation team on numerous occasions till I was blue in the face. EVERY single day a different associate replies totally oblivious to the situation and I have to go over it time and again w/ numerous different escalation “specialists” who are always gonna “resolve this today, and yet not one thing has been done.
They did contact Epizon-Tech on my behalf a cpl of X but they also are totally oblivious, or act as such, to my plight and agony.I have also contacted Epizon-Tech NUMEROUS X and they seem to not be able to care less. UNBELIEVABLE!They have a rather odd return policy, 25% restocking fee PLUS the s/h costs for BOTH ways. When I inquired out of curiosity, if that applied to a non-working scooter such as mine, I was told flat out, “IF RETURNED, NO REFUND” period! LUDICROUS!
That sounds like a criminal threat!Neither Walmart.com or Epizon-Tech has done one thing BUT TAKE MY MONEY!!!Walmart.com at least has been sympathetic (“WE ALWAYS GOT UR BACK”, yeah rite) whereas Epizon-Tech offered no solutions but a cpl small tweaks that I did try and that made absolutely no difference. Their attitude seems to be that basically, she is your problem now!Honestly I DO NOT want to return it but it needs to run and be reliable as I can not walk AND am VOICELESS (Dystonia & Dysphonia). Plus returning it is not even an option as the shipping crate & pallet it came in/on are long gone.I purchased it w/ a Walmart store credit card, w/ the intention of doing a balance transfer to a very generous offer from AmEx, which I did. So $2190 of that transfer to AmEx on June 18th, 2018, card ending w/ 63007, is the nitemare I am dealing w/.The scooter is a 2018 model and no other scooter repair company will touch it.
Epizon-Tech needs to send a technician, to my house, at their own expense, for all they put me thru, to get this monster up and running!I thought this scooter wud be the answer to my isolation problems. I am much too young to go anywhere on a traditional scooter, which I do have, that runs maybe 1 mile an hr w/ an 8 mile range (if u’re lucky). This new scooter goz up to 20 miles an hr w/ a 48 mile range (hence the name EMS-48 Adult Mobility Scooter, CozyTike).I had big plans for getting out and about on this scooter. Never in a million yrs did I imagine instead it wud be the cause of a million tears.
PLEASE help me, I am @ wits end, brokenhearted and depressed beyond measure.I was “normal” until 26 yrs ago when these disorders hit. My life as a mute, cripple is difficult enuff (beyond comprehension), w/o this added torture.WM.com & Epizon-Tech have stopped communicating w/ me 100%. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt and blame it on the holiday. But more than likely it’s just their way of blowing me off.PLEASE HELP ME (directed to the BBB)!
(I am UNABLE to talk on the phone, you leave a msg and I return ur call via my TTY/Relay.
PLEASE be present for a return call from me, if you do call & leave a msg. I DO HEAR PERFECTLY WELL.
