I've read several reviews & complaints about this establishment. Now i have a complaint about the company in general. My boyfriend worked at the Newport Ky location from the time they opened til the time tbe closed the doors on Oct.31st. I can't understand how they can just close the doors like that without a warning what so ever. The owner was in the store with these ppl the day b4 h said nothing! Yea they're offering unemployment but we all know that's not the same as what you have been getting paid. I believe some kind of severance should be paid became of how they went about it. The managers get it so why can't the regular employees? Ijs. We have an infant 2 care for & bills still need 2 get paid. It was a *** ending for us & many other ppl. An now for the quote of the day " Don't be a *** your whole life"

@Reno,Nevada -Then who would be around to serve fat slobs like yourself? I worked in restaurants during my college years and 95% of my co-workers were either attending college as well, or had another job, like being a teacher, office worker, etc.

One waiter who only worked evening shifts had a day job working as a accountant. Your ignorant judgment of people who are waiters/waitresses is a reflection of how low-class YOU are.

BTW: I do agree that was not very nice to give NO notice to the employees. I can only guess they made the decision so as to avoid people all jumping ship at once, which, if you think about it, was a selfish thing on their part. In other words, they were just thinking of themselves it would seem.

Managers get severance pay because it is part of their employment contracts. You, as a server, have no such contract.

In fact, I've never even heard of a tipped employee receiving severance pay. Severance pay is not something a company just on the spur of the moment decides to offer an employee.

It is something the Company would have pre-determined and offered upfront in the employment contract. Its parameters would be carefully laid out in the contract, regarding the amount of money to be received and what length of service it is based on.

My husband and I spent the day at the inner harbor in Baltimore, and thus looked like a laid back enough place to eat. Self seating is fine; however, we sat there for almost 15 minutes and no one even so much as acknowledged us for a drink let alone a food order.

This was on the deck at the pier, ridiculous, and I also watched 3 other couples and families leave due to the lack of service! Perhaps they should consider seating people so they know new customers who will be paying and tipping exist! I will never recommend, as a matter of fact I will discourage anyone I know from even stopping by there, and I will never try to visit there again. Can't review the food or drinks since we never received either.

Never encountered such a horrible lack of service anywhere! Stay away!

We went to *** tonight at Mall Of America Bloomington MN. The experience was awesome and our waiter Sean A. Was so funny we had the time of our life. Now if you can't handle the heat stay out of the kitchen because it is fun and if you mess with the bull you get the horns!!! Thats all ill say about that. The only thing I didn't like is a waitress on the way out the door insulted my eight year old daughter and that was truly unacceptable, the comment she made was truly rude and very inconsiderate and her not knowing the type of guests that we were she had no business saying what she said because it was very hurtful and my daughter is only 8 years old. An eight-year-old doesn't really understand ***'s restaurant but She had a great time because Sean A. Kept it fun for the kids too! The comment the waitress made on the way out, well it was out of line, The waitresses is lucky she didnt get laid out for her poor choice of words towards a minor. That is it, see you again sometime soon Sean A. Thanks for making our Night Awesome!!

The Newport location has some great servers and I like their online marketing. But the managers there are rude, the one was rapping about girls on his *** and how he smokes *** all the time. The girl at the host stand was big and she should probably wear a shirt that fits.

Don't use ur debit or credit cards there apparently they have employees who copy ur card and go on shopping sprees with ur number. I did not know that this was even possible but apparently they sell the card numbers and either the manager is in on it or is just not screening employees either he should b fired too. They ran up 600 dollar in charges in a place I have never even been too. I have a legal team looking into but be ware don't use any form of credit or debit pay cash only manager was no help and acted like he didn't care . We have since contacted Corp office will see what is done . This happened at Panama City fl location just hate to see other hard working families become part of there scam!!

So i have been going to *** all week long and tonight a drunk employee tried to start a fight with me he starts accuse me that i was yelling at him in front of his friends im like i have never seen you thas when he threatened to kill me so i day ok probably not your best judgment but the rest of the staff come out and i tell the manager hes out here trying to start a fight i have never seen this guy before never talked to him and im to the point im going to shove a glass in his face so they ask me what i did and i tell them i ce outside and he started going of maybe they need to let this guy go

So This was quite an experience we have never experienced a resturant like this and we knew it was going to be rude But i have to Say Our waitress Peacock took it too far from telling my child to shut up too throwing our silverware and even trying to be some one nice at the end of dinner to get a hundred dollar tip Dont get me wrong i wanted the experience but i did not enjoy the food or our waitress to voulgur for me Wont be going back!Gatlinburg,Tennesse

This past weekend I visited San Antonio for the first time with my family and as we're at the River walk we decide to go to *** Last Resort. It was the worst decision we could have made. We were seated and the waiter comes throwing the menus down in the middle of the table, gave us a torn up piece of paper and told us right down what you want and stated "I won't be making hats until I get a tip", which was the first sign that this wouldn't be a good experience. So to start we all ordered water and he brought one glass out with four straws and said "y'all look broke so share", which he was completely serious about. He never brought us hats and wrote on the receipt good tip = good hats. We never received refills on any of our drinks. He actually told us if you want anything else get it yourself. Also everyone who came in behind us got hats right away and he did not get the same treatment as us. The food was not satisfying nor where the alcoholic beverages and we only ended up getting appetizer platter because of how we were being treated. The experience was terrible and the waiter didn't make it any better with his attitude towards us we knew it was a rude setting but he was just over the top and I've been before in Dallas and I know how the waiters act so it wasn't that I didn't expect it them to be *** Also we tipped him the 23% and walked out because we didn't want a hat when we were leaving. It kind of defeated the purpose of everything. I've been a server before so I know that customer service is important and tips are how you make money but being a terrible waiter will not get you a better tip. The only reason we tipped the 23% is because we just wanted to let him know we were not broke and it could have been better if he would have provided better service. I will not recommend them to anyone and I will be posting my review everywhere possible.

My first time ever eating here was at the restaurant in Gatlinburg on February 27th with a large bachelorette party, and we chose *** because we wanted to enjoy a drink or two before we started our night and we thought it would be a fun environment. While I'm aware it is called *** for a reason I can handle sarcasm.

However, my waitress told me she would not serve me because I was "drunk". This was definitely not the case, and she said because my eyes looked "chinked" she would not serve me. She served every other person alcoholic beverages except for me. I am well aware that legally you cannot serve someone who is drunk but I was not, although later on that night me being called a *** eyed drunk would have been true.

She targeted me and me only from the time we walked in the door, and it was obvious to the whole group as well. Because of that a few at the table refused to buy alcoholic drinks. It was alot more than sarcasm and I could go on and on, but I wont. I will never ever eat at one of these restaurants again and I have and will continue to tell everyone I know about the terrible experience.

Worst. Restaurant. Ever. p.s.

i did leave her a tip, it equaled the amount her personality and service was worth. Happy spending!

Why is it impossible to contact a manager or corporate?? Anyway.... My family has been to *** all over the Unite States. 6 of them, in 5 different states! We went to the one in Baltimore, Maryland last night, one we have been to many times before since we live in Maryland. We chose *** not only because we were hungry and needed to eat, but we also wanted the fun of *** environment. There was no fun, we left hungry and mad! From the time we walked in, until the time we walked out, it was nothing but bad device and disappointment. Like I said, we have been to *** many times, we know what to expect. I tried to speak to the manager about our disappointment, but he slipped out the side door when he saw the hostess pointing me in his direction. Here's what happened..... We were told 20 minute wait, it ended up being an hour. Each time I asked how much longer ( we had hungry kids who were losing their patience) she couldn't give me a direct answer. "You will be next" or " as soon as we seat this large party and get them settled" Then we waited another 15 minutes for our waiter once we were finally seated. Our food did come fast, faster than our bottled beers from the bar actually! However, the food was cold and under cooked. I had a salad, which was hot!?! My salad came with NO dressing, and it took 20 minutes to ask the waiter for some, since he was busy talking and joking with the tables around us. It is his job to interact with customers to provide the *** experience, but he didn't interact with us at all.... Except to get our orders. Then the check came..... And by this point, we still hadn't been given any of those silly hats that our kids were so excited to receive. We hadn't seen any of the things we normally see. There were no napkins blow around, no interaction with staff, none of the fun things that make *** *** I had to ask for hats for my kids.....and Right behind us, the entire night, sat a stack of them already made?! I decided the manger should know all these things, so while my husband paid the bill, I asked the hostess if I could speak to the manager. She pointed him out, then began to walk me over to him, he quickly turned and ran out the side door. I continued to the door, opened it and looked around for him.... He was gone.... Gone, just like *** ability to provide decent food and a fun environment. We have never had such an awful experience at *** not at the one in Baltimore, not at any of the *** we had been to! We won't return, I cat possibly give my money to a place that doesn't value their customers or the *** experience.

This complaint made me laugh. How can anyone eat at ***'s and not understand that the whole concept is to be extremely sarcastic.

The employees are trained to be intentionally rude to the customers. Its like a performance. Did you not check out their restaurant concept before writing this complaint?

It's one thing to have a valid complaint, but when someone doesn't do their own homework as to how a place works only to complain when the company did exactly what is listed as their business model.....

Please, look up reviews to see what a restaurant is like before trashing the place for being what it's advertised for.

So I take the kids to ***'s last resort for lunch. Anyone who has ever been there knows they are know for being rude. Anyway we finished eating we were outside taking pics when I look and seen one if the workers hit the floor at first I thought he was joking I noticed he was having a seizure. I ran to his side the manager told me not to call 911 because he has a history of epileptic seizures and they will be charged if the ambulance comes. I will not darken there doorstep again if this is how they treat their employees. A couple of the coworkers and the young man that collapsed thanked me and sge was still trying to get him to refuse medical attention so they would not be charged.

There's a difference between a little sarcasm and lazy ! I can handle the sarcasm, because I'm right there too, but ask for a refill over and over and never get it because, "more people besides you in here", comment among other things. First and last time to eat at this restaurant

This place is embarrassingly bad. Margaritas, the big ones 44 oz that are $27, only have 2-3 oz of alcohol. The corporate outfits that runs it is greedy. The Baltimore Inner Harbour has seen better restaurants than this fold...Planet Hollywood, Wayne's BBQ. It will not last. The servers are okay, but they had a bartender almost make an older woman cry at the bar by telling her that she as ugly. It was painful to watch. Lots of workplace bullying. I have seen workers abuse each other verbally and they were NOT kidding. It's very dysfunctional. Think Lord of the Flies. The food is awful, not the kitchen's fault. They are cooking it to corporate specifications. Snow crab legs that you could get cheaper at a $7 buffet. It's awful.

Rude Experience would be OKAY but we got NO EXPERIENCE due to lazy server

VERY disappointed in this place. (***'s Last Resort Nashville) We dropped our 5 kids off with their 19 year cousin with plenty of money AND TIPS!

I know the staff is suppose to be rude but you go to this place for AN EXPERIENCE. (You certainly don't go there for the food.) The female server said she wasn't going to bother giving them a dance hat with a unique phrase like everybody else gets (probably thought they wouldn't be good tippers I'm guessing. She was wrong!) They ended up leaving! We were hoping they could be entertained while we did the bicycle tour.

They were expecting to have a RUDE experience not NO EXPERIENCE whatsoever. Lazy, lazy server. We've gone to three other ***'s.

I would never recommend this place after what they did to this group. It's wasn't rudeness it was pure laziness.

THE MARKETING MANAGER CONTACTED ME AND SENT SOME GIFT CERTIFICATES TO TRY THEM AGAIN. IT WAS NOT MY INTENTION TO GET ANYTHING FOR FREE AND I DON'T KNOW IF WE WILL EVER USE THEM.

HOWEVER THE MOST IMPORTANT THING SHE DID WAS TELL ME THAT THEY SPOKE TO THE SERVER TO HANDLED THIS TABLE AND SHE IS GETTING MORE TRAINING.

THAT WAS REALLY THE GOAL HERE. WE HAVE BEEN IN THE HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY FOR OVER 30 YEARS AND I THOUGHT SHE WAS A CLASS ACT TO REACH OUT AND HANDLE THE SITUATION THE WAY SHE DID.
