Bad Walnuts
- - Diamond walnuts used to be my baking staple.
- - In the last two years, the quality declined.
- - They smelled and tasted awful; I won't buy them again.
I have used nothing but diamond walnuts for years when baking. Sadly, the last 2 years, the product has gone down hill.
The walnuts smelled and tasted awful. What a waste of money and time, and I will not be purchasing them again.
User's recommendation: Buy a different brand.
I Purchased two packs of Emeril honey glaze cashews peanuts. They didn’t look anything like the label which displayed whole honey glazed cashews.
Problem with honey-glazed cashews in both bags that I purchased being crushed.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution
User's recommendation: Fix this problem
Bad product
- - Bought 4 8oz packs: 2 walnuts, 2 pecans.
- - Pecans were dark and bitter.
- - Threw out pecans after not reaching the company; suggests phone reporting.
Bought 4 8oz pkgs. 2 walnuts, 2 pecans.
walnuts were ok but pecans were dark & bitter.
Threw pecans out after becoming frustrated that your company couldn't be reached. In view of the fact that many older people are not computer literate, the company should be able to report a problem by phone.

Verified Reviewer"BAD" Customer Service
- - I emailed Diamond Walnuts twice about poor walnuts.
- - They promised a replacement, but it never arrived; I am disgusted hearing Diamond Walnuts.
Twice in the past 5 years I emailed Diamond Walnuts about poor quality bagged walnuts. Both times I received a response back that the item would be replaced but never was. Now I am discussed every time I hear "Diamond Walnuts" or see a bag in the store.

Diamond Walnuts-Quality lacking BigTime
- - Long-time fan, quality is garbage and I won't buy again.
- - Now from China price is high.
- - Demand good product at fair price or go out of business.
Been a big fan of Diamond Walnuts for years and recently noticed that the quality of their nuts is horrible. What do they come from China now!
The price is very high to pay for garbage. Hope they get their act together soon. It's time consumers send a message to food companies, either give us a good product at a good price or go out of business.
We are what we eat and it's time we demand only the best from anyone who is going to feed us. I will not buy this product anymore and hope others will do the same!!!!
Unacceptable quality of Diamond nuts
- - Diamond nuts were bitter and rancid in four purchases.
- - Generic nuts were fine; distributor issue possible.
- - Coupons offered; declined.
The last 4 times I bought Diamond nuts (3 times walnut pieces, once almonds), they were bitter and rancid. This was over a period of a few months at 3 different supermarkets. The packages were all w/i their sell by date. During that same time frame I got a few packages of generic nuts and they were good, so I know that I do not have a problem w/ my taste buds.
It is possible that the regional distributor does not store them properly and that all the supermarkets, though under different ownership, got them from the same warehouse. Diamond customer service offers coupons to recompense, but I refused them as I do not want more bad nuts. I have been given no indication that the company is interested in correcting or even acknowledging the problem. Since most supermarkets carry only this brand for anything more than snack-sized packages, I can't get edible nuts from my local supermarkets anymore.
I am writing this in hopes that the company will take notice and restore its former good quality controls. I would rather not have to make a special trip to the natural foods store or order nuts online and pay shipping.

I have always used Diamond walnuts for baking and salads. They don't have the same flavor.
They taste stale or just off. I won't be purchasing them anymore.
