I wouldn't personally hire them

Tenants have the right to refuse pest control. Before I had chance to discuss with property manager, Diam's 'technicians' sprayed my apartment multiple times, excessively, for no reason, making it difficult to use kitchen & ruining some of my personal property.

When I noticed a roach in apartment, I immediately informed property manager; she agreed to let me do my own pest control as long as product met her requirements; not only did I spend money I couldn't afford to purchase a supply, when I informed her it's been effective she verified it was 'fine.' However- the tech who was here on Dec. 17 ignored her comments, refused to listen to me, said they'd be back 'in a couple of weeks,' essentially asserting they'll do whatever they want. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. Not only did he tell me these products 'don't work' (untrue), from what manager said she was told the same thing.

She said they'd be bringing in bait. From the tech's behavior to long-ago experiences with spraying, the techs are NOT to come into my apartment unless property manager is present. Not only are they violating my rights in general by using ANY products against my objections, I now have a cat that I do not want at risk of poisoning. That does not mean techs can put this bait wherever they want in my apartment; there are very few locations she cannot easily access.

I made 3 attempts to contact Diam directly- 3 different email addresses- but no response. Diam does NOT have the right to violate my rights as a tenant- and certainly doesn't have the right to put me or my cat in danger of poisoning.
