Awful Experience

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • Puck landed near my son; another kid picked it up.
  • The mom and group berated him, took the puck, and he was ejected after a soundless video review.

My son had a player point his stick at him and flipped a puck over the glass to him. It landed next to him and another kid picked it up.

My son politely asked for the puck since it was clearly meant for him. The other kid's mom came running down, took the puck from her son, and she (and others in her group) started publicly berating my son. There were others in the section that saw it, and were yelling that it was my son's puck. The mom & her group took off up the stairs.

My son followed and spoke directly with the mom to ask for it back, and she declined. The other kid was crying (what kid wouldn't cry when they hear her mom and group of people start yelling at someone, while there's another group of people yelling the puck wasn't his?). My son talked to an usher to get the issue sorted. The result was that he was ejected from the building after a "video review" that has no sound & only shows my son following them up the steps.

The woman falsely accused my son of saying threatening things to hers.

Security wouldn't hear my son's side at all. Racial profiling???

Sounds to me like daddy is in denial and thinks his son is a perfect angel. Even if the son was in the wrong, it is immature of daddy to ASSume "racial profiling.

He is teaching his son when things do not go his way he can always claim "racial profiling. Besides it is not up to the ushers to solve disputes. They only ejected him from what they saw on video.

This has NOTHING to do with "racial proflling. Daddy needs to grow up.

It sounds like your son learned a lesson that day. Not to run his mouth. They don’t do video reviews for no reason.

"My son had a player point his stick at him and flipped a puck over the glass to him. It landed next to him and another kid picked it up.", cry me a river.

Teach your son life isn't always fair. Get on with your life.

Instead of teaching h9is son that life is not fair, this moron is teaching his son to claim "racial profiling" when things do not go his way.

Your son had no business following anyone over a stupid hockey puck. Lousy parenting job allowing it to escalate and involve an usher and ultimately arena management.

Of course it is lousy parenting. What is even worse is the father is teaching his son to claim "racial profiling" if he does wrong and gets called out for it.

The son did wrong and regardless of his racial background they would react the same. I feel bad for the son having such a poor role model.

I bet if the player directed the puck at the other boy he would accuse the player of racial profiling his poor innocent son. Maybe the puck was directed at the other boy, or both to see who would get it first.

Tonight's Redwings Game with free Grateful Dead Jersey

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • I spent nearly $500 on two game tickets.
  • Jerseys were promised but not issued, and my name wasn't on the gate list.

I spent close to $500 on two tickets for tonight's game for one reason and one reason only. They were Christmas presents for my two sons and the reason I spent this much money on two tickets were for the free Grateful Dead jerseys.

So now my sons are at the game only to be told my name is not on the list. I am PISSED. I went right to the Redwings website...clicked on the link that said get your tickets and free jersey here and bought two tickets. WTF.

If they weren't going to get the jerseys...they would of not wanted to see them play the LA Kings.

I could of sent them to a game and spent half that amount of money. I want the jerseys I paid for.

Loss:
$446
Cons:
  • I feel ripped off

Preferred solution: 2 Redwings Grateful Dead Jerseys

QUESTION. FAN FROM FAR AWAY. FAN PACK.

AI Highlights
  • A fan from Bosnia and Herzegovina asks if the Red Wings can send a fan pack.
  • The sender is a huge Red Wings fan and far from Detroit.

Dear Detroit Red Wings! My name is Aleksandar Lajić, and I am from Bosnia and Herzegovina (Europe).

I am a HUGE Red Wings fan. Like I said, because I am far away from Detroit and USA and I do not have access to that much Red Wings merch. I was wondering, if Your could send me something like fan pack. If not, it is OK.

I will understand. I am sorry if my english is not good enough, because it is not my first language. Also, I am sorry if this mail adress is not for things like this, but I am not able to find another one.

Best wishes and best of luck in future. Sincerely, Aleksandar Lajić Bajinci bb, {{Redated}}, Europe
