Resolved: Misleading information
They returned my item to me without charging any fees. Don’t use Dependable Cleaners.
I've called on several occasions about their pickup/delivery service and pricing. I've mostly talked to Keith who gave me an $80 quote for comforter cleaning. I scheduled pickup, Keith arrived and took my comforter. 5 minutes later he called to advise the price will now be $100 for cleaning.
No prior notification, no quote given at the time of transaction. I had him return my item promptly. The transaction seemed nefarious and seemed like a bait & switch. He should have quoted their price ( he stated there was a price increase 3 weeks prior ) at the time of pickup.
Instead, he waited until my item was in his possession and then called with the inflated cost. I will never do business with a company that conducts speculative/untrustworthy business practices.
