We purchased refrigerator last November of 2014. On June 30 the refrigerator compartment stopped working. We called Dependable Appliance where we purchased it and said this refrigerator was on recalled because of faulty fan. They said should be able to fix it June the week of the 6th. We called again regarding when it will be and they said part is on back order and hope to have it June 23rd. Then we will have to wait until they can put it in because of all the complaints regarding this. In the meantime we are without a refrigerator and have had to throw out food. I think GE should offer a temp. refrigerator until the problem is fixed (at no cost to us). It is ridicules that we should be out of a refrigerator for so long seeing how it was bought brand new Nov. 2014.

Beware of Dependable Appliance NY
It has been 4+ weeks since contacting this company through the store we purchased our dishwasher from. The repair technician has been to our house on three occasions and he has needed to order a new part twice. Aside from the length of the repair, which still has not yet been completed, our latest complaint is with their less then friendly customer service. They scheduled another repair visit at our house for Thursday, which I took a day off to wait around all day for. We were told that they would call by 930am to let us know when to expect the repair man. 930am came and went, by 1130am we finally got through with customer service and they assured us the repair man would be here that afternoon between 3-6pm. Later that day, we were notified that the repair man would not be coming after all, the excuse was that someone in the office failed to print out a ticket for the repair man there for he did not have our part for the dishwasher on his the truck. I called the dependable customer service and a woman assured us the repair man would be there the following day, Friday, and that we would be receiving another call by 930am. I asked if there was a guarantee that I would definitely be getting a phone call by 930am which she replied "of course", even though I stated that hasn't been the case on Thursday when I received a phone call at 1130am, which she then began to argue with me that I wasn't telling the truth. Regardless, we gave them another benefit of the doubt and my wife took a day off from work on Friday. After countless phone calls between the store we purchased the dishwasher from, finally well after 930am on Friday, the customer service person at the store we purchased from told us the repair man would be at our house between 3-7pm. Well, 7pm came and went with no repair man in sight. After a few phone calls with dependable customer service as to where our repair man was, they kept assuring us that they would have him call us. It was finally 830pm on Friday when we received a phone call from customer service stating that our repair man was in a car accident earlier in the day and that all of his customers had been notified by phone earlier in the day. Just another excuse for their incompetence. We have been assured, for the third time, after two full days off from work, that Monday would be the day the repair man would finally come. We told them we will not be holding our breathe this time. Dependable Appliance? The owner should have looked up the word dependable before he hired these people.
