Beware

Theyre gladly there when taking down your payment info. Virtually nonexistent customer service for everything else. Same 3 people pick up the phone and always with a chip on their shoulder, except for one woman. Perhaps theyre not getting paid enough or too much. Then they take 10 times as long as every other company for simple requests - that is if they ever get to it. I dont know who their CEO is, but he should try calling once in a while to experience it for himself. Planning to switch as soon as my term is over.

Incompetence

It was the dumbest mistake to obtained a malpractice insurance thru this company, they charged me and issued the wrong policy and when I wanted to cancel and obtain a refund the broker Brendan Connolly along with their customer service reps, refused to issue a refund and later take my calls hanging up on me.I had to call the credit card company to obtain a full refund. Brendan buddy, you are a brown streak on dentist's under ware Brendan

Terrible service and lazy

You always have to ask many times for something to be done and it takes at least 10 times as long as my old insurance company. Also really terrible attitude.

Horrible service

Horrible company I Know a case of two dentists with the same claim, one was dropped by Dentist Advantage and the other one fully covered by TDIC until case was completely resolved. I never Recommend Dentist advantage There is a reason for them being cheaper than other insurances,

Worst customer service ever. They are rude like you are asking them for blood and always takes forever to do anything when my last Insurance took 10 Minutes for the same request.

Very overpriced and do not return phone calls

I have malpractice insurance as a new dentist through this company. However when I tried to call them to ask a question about my policy to renew nobody even called me back!!! One phone call to a competitor saved me $1,600 for the year! I cant believe I ever signed up with Dentists advantage and would never recommend them to a colleague! Dentists advantage still hasnt had the decency to return my phone call but they continue to send me bills weekly by snail mail. Never again guys!

Customer Service

This is one of the most inept companies I have ever dealt with. No one likes having to deal with a malpractice insurance company, but these guys are terrible. I wouldn't participate with them if they were 30% cheaper than the next company. I have had nothing but problems with them since the day I have dealt with them. Billing is often wrong, they increase premiums significantly without justification for them. I have never had to file a claim, but god help me if I had to deal with them on such a sensitive issue. I went with them because they were supported by the ADA. I may have to question other recommendations for companies that I see from the ADA as a result of my interactions with this company. A level of incompetence I have not seen in a professional organization before.

Dentist's Advantage did not return my check..

I filled out an application for insurance, got an estimate of cost, sent a check and did not get the insurance.. I asked for my money back and so far have not got my check or my money returned.. The company is Dentist's Advantage, the check was dated 2-10-14 and I called and the not nice lady gave me some excuse that it will take more time.. I really would rather the insurance, but who knows I must be some scary guy.. I am at work 40 hours a week but only see patients 16 hours a week, the rest of the time is doing lab work making dentures or sleeping.. How hard can this be???
