Dental Board of California Is A Total Joke

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • A local dentist was negligent in my case.
  • The Dental Board of California sided with the office and avoided a thorough investigation.

Had a case and it was clearly obvious a dentist in my area was completely negligent. But instead of doing a thorough investigation that would have revealed this, the Dental Board of California took the lazy way out and sided with the dental office which I wouldn't be surprised if paid them to do so.

Any reasonable person knowing the facts of the case would see that the dental office was egregiously negligent. The Hearing Committee should investigate the Dental Board of California and if so I am confident would find they were negligent in their duty for which they were appointed.

Just another sad state of affairs in which the bad guys - in this case the dental office and the Dental Board of California - get away with doing bad things to customers and citizens with lack of accountability. Disgraceful and disgusting!

Cons:
  • Needs stronger oversight from legislators and be investigated
  • Supports dentists first and foremost despite facts to contrary
  • Cannot be trusted for fair and accurate decision

User's recommendation: Bypass The Dental Board of California and Go Straight To A Hearing

Dental Board of California does not use licensed reviewing doctors or dentists to look at complaints. In fact, they only use consumer services analysts to decide on the complaints who are not doctors or dentists.

Most courts will throw out these complaints because these consumer services analysts have no credibility at all because they are not licenses doctors or dentists: they have no weight of credibility with the judges.

The Dental Board of California does not have a Chief Medical Officer either. It's a complete joke and the other states make fun of the Dental Board of California.

Problem with dental issue

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • Had dental work from Dennis; bottom bridge is bad.
  • Dennis, my longtime dentist, died; I paid over $1,600 and receipts aren’t provided.

Had dental work for my Dennis who Ive had for a long time many years. He did a bad job on my bridges was trying to fix him and in that time he passed away I paid lots of cash money to him the office refuses to give me or send me my receipts Ive been asking them for over a year to let me have my receipts and they keep saying theyre going to send them and they have not. I paid $1600.03 times, not having a problem with the top ones just the bottom one that cost me over $1600 I just want it fixed

Loss:
$1600

Preferred solution: I would like to get my bridge fixed on the lower left side. It’s very uncomfortable. It’s too big and it’s loose. It always was from day one when he put it in and he tried to fix it, but passed away during the fixing.

Deceived to invest in a Probationer Dentist's services

AI Highlights
  • I was misled about a probationer dentist's status during consultation.
  • I wasn't told he was under investigation and on probation.

I was fooled when I invested in a PROBATIONER DENTIST - a status of dentist I was purposely uninformed of at the dental office. During my initial consultation I was NEVER informed by the Dental Board nor by this dentist that he was under investigation for harming other patients and later licensed with an imposed probation for 5 yrs.

I never knew the valuable truth about his harmful pattern or his PROBATIONER DENTIST status for over a decade AFTER I was irreparably damaged and sitting with an attorney who informed me. I'm toothless and on surgery 5 now with no hope for implants.
