September 16, 2024 Beck & Masten rep Khara Wood sent an email to DeMontrond Buick GM Tom Skinner showing an estimate for damages and got no response.

I took my 2022 Buick Encore GX to Demontrond Buick at 17925 North Freeway on August 12, 2024 to have them inspect two items the "battery" and the error code "shift to park." My service person Adam informed me the battery was bad so they replaced it but they did not have the "transmission shifter control" in stock. So some weeks went by and finally I came in on September 11, 2024 and had the shifter replaced by an uncertified, untrained tech named Kelvin Alvarez who told me he had done the procedure over twenty times and assured me he would not damage my car.

Well he lied! 1. He kicked up my driverside door. 2.

He scrapped up my driverside kick panel. 3. He gouged/ scraped my shifter console panel and 4.He ruined my shifter handle and it now come apart in my hands when I drive??? So I texted the GM Tom Skinner about 10 mins after I picked up my car and sent him photos of the damages and he said to bring the car in.

I brought the car in about 5 days later September 16, 2024 to Demontrond Buick 17925 N. Fwy to the GM Tom Skinner and I showed him the damages and how easy it was for the shift handle to slide off into your hands. At first he said he would fix (2) of the three items but when I tried to tell his service tech Kelvin Alverez that he lied about his expertise Tom Skinner started threatening to call the police and telling me to shut up. I called Buick corporate right in his face, asked for my paperwork and left.

They want me to believe my brand new car was in this condition when I bought it.

IT WAS NOT AND I HAVE PICTURES TO PROVE OTHERWISE. I also have two business professionals who can detest to the fact my car was new and not abused when they were caring for it.
