ATM mishaps, staffing help...

Overall, I would say that I have had mostly positive experiences in dealing with Delta Community Credit Union. However, the newer branch in Snellville, GA, needs to make some adjustments in regards to their ATM. About fifty percent of the time, that I have had to make a deposit at this ATM, “the machine was not accepting cash deposits at the time”. It’s extremely frustrating because the next closest location is in Suwanee, GA which is 12 miles away! That is absolutely ridiculous that anyone would have to drive an additional 20 minutes out of the way just to make cash deposits in the ATM. The weekends are the worst! On a side note, this location could stand to either hire sufficient staffing or stay open until 1 pm. It is nothing to go into this location on a Saturday morning and see the line almost out the door. Delta community really needs to consider putting up a free standing ATM or even another branch somewhere in between these locations to serve its growing customer base. In my past experience, limitations to access of banking facilities/services caused me to take my business elsewhere. I’m hoping that DCCU brings a quick resolution to this significant issue.

Betsi Holbrook To:Delta Community Feb 1 at 9:14 PM Here's some insight...I had an amazing used car that DCCU financed. Payments were auto-debited, no problems. In the past year plus, my payments were perfect, but I had other financial issues happening, my mother went in a nursing home for a year, I had some unexpected, unplanned debt. I had to let debts go, but never my car payment. Then my car got vandalized, out of the blue, no fault of mine. It was totaled. I thought my great community credit union would at least let me pick up on financing where I was left, when DCCU was paid off with never a hiccup. Nope. I was a new nobody with no clout from my prior record. Don't kid yourselves that you are any different from a huge bank.

DCCU - Debt Consolidation Review

I called DCC about 2 weeks Ago , I applied for debt consolidation , they told me it would take 45 days to set up, but my pay day loans they would take care of right away . They actually did what they claimed , I can't belive it . I had 3 payday loans, & they really pushed me to make their payment within 5 days , I went along. & I'm Sure Gladd I listened to them , I still have to pay back the money , but I don't have the fees that were killing me , im So gladd I found these people , they were a little pushy about the payment right away , but now I know why , it was the right thing

Delta community credit union

does not seem to care about its customers. You should feel some level of protection when using your debit card. If you are involved with fraud or ripped off by someone using your card...it will take you months to file reports, receive dozens of calls, and I truly hope you fare better than I did: losing $1200. Although I followed all their procedures, sent numerous faxes and e-mails, and letter, and phone calls, an online company basically stole $1200 over monthly installments for which DCCU refused to help me recover. I am taking my business away and a bank that offers no protection or customer service does not deserve to remain in business. So many banks these days are hurting their customers with outrageous fees and zero customer service, yet, in my heart, I have to believe there is maybe a local or smaller bank or credit union that still offers good old fashioned protection and customer service to its customers. I can only recommend that you close your account and look for a bank that will stand behind you-their customer and the average American consumer. I tell all my friends and family to avoid this bank and am in process of closing my account in favor of another credit union. Hope they work out better than DCCU!

First time with delta credit and from the using it was bad . When I went to one of the branches to deposit money in the account it wouldn't let me and I asked why wasn't my money going in the account the *** woman (girl) said my money was probably fake.. Really from that day on and having to call delta about 11/12 times to figure out why my money won't go into the account none of the people working for delta didn't try to listen or help at all.And they have the worse customer service never again will I try delta because of what I had to deal with.
