Charged for cancelled order, refused, after partial fulfillment

    stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I ordered three bottles of scotch from their web site. Several days later I received a phone call while driving about the order asking me to call.

The next morning I called the numbers provided and just received voice mail boxes which were full. I then sent an email to them asking to cancel the order. The following day they said they only had one of the bottles so I again asked to cancel. Then I received an email saying that just one bottle was going to be shipped (had not shipped yet) so I again requested cancellation as they were charging over $30 to ship it (same as for 3 bottles).

They shipped it anyway so I refused the shipment and filed a dispute with my bank. They had the audacity to dispute with my bank the charge. NO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE! Terrible customer service and dubious business practices.

Web site is not up to date. They use this to dupe you into orders which they cannot fulfill and charge anyway.

You were only charged for the one bottle. Nothing dubious there.
