My recent experiences as a partnered driver with Daytrip have left me feeling disheartened and compelled to share my perspective.
Inconsistent Communication: Daytrip's lack of consistency in communicating important details to drivers is frustrating. For example, the app's acceptance of non-physical drop-off locations leads to extensive navigation and additional fuel consumption, raising concerns about efficiency and driver safety.
Unforeseen Charges: I've encountered issues with Daytrip's failure to inform customers about extra toll charges for multiple stops.
This lack of transparency not only leads to customer dissatisfaction but also reflects poorly on drivers, as it may appear that we are overcharging passengers.
Dismissive Support Response: When attempting to address these concerns with Daytrip's customer support, I faced dismissiveness and condescension. Instead of addressing the issues constructively, my feedback was brushed aside, which is disheartening as a valued partner.
Payment Uncertainty: The lack of clarity regarding payment methods adds frustration. As an operator, I prefer in-app payments over cash. I had hoped that the booking process would provide transparency, allowing me to choose whether to accept or decline bookings with certain payment methods.
Unfair Booking Distribution: Additionally, I've noticed that most bookings seem to be disseminated unfairly.
The options presented on my app often appear less favorable, while better bookings are seemingly assigned preferentially to other drivers. This practice is unjust and undermines the fairness of the platform.
Furthermore, it is important to note that my account was blocked after sharing this feedback, which I believe is a breach of agreement.
Legally, the concerns I've raised are valid, and Daytrip does not have the right to block my account simply because I aired feedback regarding their lapses and inconsistencies.
Overall, my experience as a partnered driver with Daytrip has been marred by inconsistent communication, unforeseen charges, unresponsive support, and unfair booking distribution. I urge Daytrip to address these issues promptly and ensure fair treatment of all drivers on their platform.
- Dismissive and terrible customer support
- Inconsistency
- Unprofessional
Preferred solution: Compensation for the inconveniences and I want their office is aware of the behavior of the people who is handling their support and operation.

They didn’t ask for your opinion. This is your comment, correct? You called me out because I shared my experience here? Why do you care about my experience when it's not yours?
You said right out of a job? I'm only a driver? And now after I replied to you, you're emulating me that you're free to comment? Very unprofessional, and that tone of response is the same from their support team, so I know.
