To protect other people from buying this junk.

Bought a Daymak e-bike from dealer who sells electric cars. I was told they offer repairs. Turns out repairs depot was 3 hr trip away. Quality is not there.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with partial refund.

Have been charged the right amount now after some help from my credit card company. Gil at ebike universe and Daymak were not helpful at all and lied to me through out.

They did not cheat me on the price. They did cheat me of the time and effort I spent chasing the...

I am still attempting to get my refund from Daymak and Ebike universe in Vancouver they promise to mail me the money I was overcharged, but will not confirm this with an email or text. I also asked for a new receipt with the corrected amount, that should have been approximately $2466.45 instead of the $2910.88 I was charged and when I called Gil at ebike universe for this reason he promised to send me an updated receipt, which I have not received. At this point I am attempting to recoup the money by other means and wonder in whose pocket the 181 dollars and change from the provincial sales tax I was overcharged would have ended. I will give an update on pissed consumer on how this ends. One last thing, I Love my Daymak Phoenix and have had a lot of fun with both Daymak bikes, but Daymaks style of consumerism has changed the way I see Daymak, and it will be very difficult for me to buy another bike from them.

This is really a complaint about a retailer not the eBike manufacturer. Thus it is not a valid review of the product.

Ebike universe and Daymak are the same. I spoke to Daymak twice and Ebike universe six times.

Daymak told me I would hear from their reprentative supervising ebike universe in Vancouver while the store manager said he is just an employee.

I did not hear from the managers supervisor and saying I'm just an employee is a cop out. Daymak and Ebike universe are the same people

Manager of ebike was dishonest about sales price and charged me pst in B.C.

Daymak - Manager of ebike was dishonest about sales price and charged me pst in B.C.
I bought a Daymak Phoenix ebike on May 2, 2023. I bought it in person at ebike universe in Vancouver. This was my second purchase from this store, as I bought a Pithog Max on January 12, 2021. I gave the store the benefit of the doubt as a repeat customer. I didn't look at the bill until 3 days after buying the bike and was surprised to see I didnt get the sales price the Ebike universe employee promised me which was approximately 250 dollars, and he charged me provincial sales tax on my ebike which isn't taxable in B.C. the amount was over 180 dollars. Furthermore, I called the store and the employee claimed that he gave me the discount and I did have to pay the PST and wanted to give me a link for electric vehicles rebate. He was unpleasant to deal with, I finally was able to convince him he needed to refund the tax through the government website. He claimed he didn't know even though the ebikes havn"t been taxed provincially in two years, which I found hard to believe. I love both bikes but not the dishonesty from Gil the employee at ebike universe in Vancouver if that's his real name. He called me the next day and said he sent the head office the refund request and followed up three days later and was much more professional and said I would either get a check or credit the tax back to my card and would keep me informed of the progress. There was no effort to give me the sales price which is 250 dollars that I could use
