Daves Discount Auto Parts

Dealing with Dave's discount auto parts was nothing short of a disaster. For starters the information represented in their website is completely inaccurate.

Parts for specific makes and models are not even in stock. I ordered two engine mounts for my 67 Olds Cutlass. The incompetent clowns at degenerate Dave's despicable auto parts circus not only lied about the availability of the parts and their compatibility they shipped the wrong parts. When I tried to call and resolve the issue via email and phone calls I was brushed off.

No response. Please do not waste your time at this big top circus. I am going to eat the $22.00 cost of the wrong parts that were sent on different days, but telling all my classic car buddies just how inept and terrible this poor excuse for a business is now that's priceless.

I'm not pissed because Degenerate Dave's will not remain in business long with practices like this. Found the right Parts from a reputable company and much cheaper.

Dave's Discount Auto Parts shipped the wrong suspension struts for my 1999 Chevrolet Prizm. I ordered a specific parts brand and Dave's sent parts from a different manufacturer.

I reported the error on receiving the shipment, and Dave's challenged the accuracy of my claim. I submitted picture evidence of the error and requested their procedure for correction.

Two weeks later they sent a UPS return shipment tag but would not tell when or if the correct parts would be shipped. I sent additional requests for replacement parts procedures but Dave's Discount Auto Parts does not respond.

I purchased 2 parts from this store on Ebay and one of the parts was defective and I used the other part. I wanted to send the defective part back to them and get a partial refund but they told me that I have to send both parts back to get a refund.

It does not say that in their ad on Ebay. Do not buy from this store!!!! They are stealing from me!!!!

I put a claim against them on PayPal. I needed my car and could not wait until I sent back both parts and then wait again for them to send me the parts which could be defective again.
