Exploitation is Ramant
Though Dating4Disabled says they do their best to vet clients, the site is loaded with fake profiles. Not all disabled people have the ability to discern when they are being exploited, and they are especially vulnerable to exploitation. My intellectually disabled son was targeted several times, and even though I reported it to the company, the profile is STILL active.

Caught a scammer big time
I recently went on here as I'm disabled and looking to meet people. The site administrator claims to monitor scammers, but they don't.
I matched with someone whom I thought was legitimate. We exchanged information, only for me to find out they didn't exist at all after doing my homework on them and performing a reverse number check. This person immediately asked for financial details. I contacted the administrator of the site but received no answer.
They wouldn't even let me delete my profile. I was basically scammed by them.

Can’t get what I paid for and can’t reach anyone in customer service
I paid for my subscription, and when I try to get onto the site, it says it does not recognize my email.
it's almost impossible to reach someone in customer service and I need my credit card removed so that I don't get charged when I am unable to get onto the site.

This one charges too much, it should be free but they have learned that devotees will pay any money to try to find a woman with a disability. And money scammers. I've never seen such predation on a dating site. This one is the worst!
There are all kinds of problems with the website itself. I don't understand how they are making money but offering such mediocrity. This company should be ashamed of themselves. I would be shocked if the owner had a disability but not really.
It just really takes advantage of people with disabilities. Non-disabled people and disabled people alike get by just fine on free sites.
Disabled people typically make less and have to pay 15 bucks a month? Give me a break.

Years ago, before this site began charging I met someone and we became friends. Lifelong friends.
They started charging and we both stopped paying because people do just fine on free sites.
I think this website is predatory. Whether it began with that intention or not. Seems like once they saw how the public really wants to get at the vulnerable they started charging and started scamming the scammers. Now the people it was intended for are just SOL.
Could have been a good thing but nothing has changed in over a decade. Their website continues to suck AND they are charging? Get outta here.
The only justification I can think of would be that they are trying to keep out the scammers and devotees for safety, which they are not. You can do much better than this site.

This is an extremely poor dating site for an extremely sensitive issue. The idea of matching people who are disabled is a great idea.
The fact that you can not search for age, location or members only is a money wasting venue. It is apparent only after you join how many people have paid subscriptions. I'm a mature female and dealing with mostly young men who want to chat.
Give me a break. I hope someone steps up to the plate and designs a free website for the disabled like POF who does a good job of reasonable security and and a no nonsense approach of break the rules and you are forever off the site.

This dating site is the worst. Non-disabled people and disabled people alike do just fine on free sites.
Why did they start charging customers? They haven't offered anything in order to justify the $15 or whatever a month. They are taking advantage of disabled people because disabled people are already a target for people who sign up to scam or because they are a devotee. I am totally disgusted with this company.
I met someone years ago also and we've been friends for many years. Neither of us paid for the site. I stopped using this site a long time ago and met someone on OkCupid which is FREE!!!

Yes and there are people who aren't disabled on the site as well as the usual scammers who are liars just trying to take advantage of someone who is more vulnerable! I did meet a nice man back in 2008 prior to when they charged for a membership and we're still friends.
But in the last two weeks someone contacted me boasting about himself and saying how great he was and highly educated but his sentences ran together and he couldn't even spell.
He just kept boasting about himself and said he wasn't on the site very often yet I found he was there very much and he was pushing a relationship so strongly even before a friendship was developed. I blocked him.
Did you ever find a service to fit your needs? Disabled as well and nothing out there seems very legitimate.

Hi Michael I think all online dating sites are the same however when you market to the vulnerable there should be an absolute vetting of members. The vetting seems to be the money.
