Inspector omitted crucial information
Data Scan Inspector came to inspect the car, his attire was deplorable I honestly thought that he was a homeless man. He did not explain the process instead demanded my keys and began taking pictures of the vehicle.
I had forgotten to remove the satellite radio antennae from the car, it's a magnetic. The inspector pointed it out and I asked him if he wanted it removed so that can see if there was any damaged caused to the area. He replied "no, leave it it's fine. I'll make a note that it's not a fixed antennae so that it won't be considered a modification".
I check the report today online and the inspector instead of making a note as he stated he would, he noted that the antennae as it going through the car giving the financial company the impression that the antennae was permanently attached to the trunk of the car.
I call the financial company and the woman on the phone calls me a liar and says that she goes by the inspector's report and if I fail to fix it I will be sued for $1500 for damages.
These inspectors were supposed to give a fair report instead I get the one *** who decides to omit a crucial piece of information.
Unprofessional Inspector
I was scheduled to have my car inspection between 1-5pm today. The inspector called around 215pm and said he’s on his way.
He called me when he got here. I told him to meet me at the roof of the garage where I parked the car. When I got to my car, no one is there. I called him back and asked where he was.
It seemed like he’s in the wrong garage, so I explained there are two garages on opposite sides of the building. He said he will call me right back. Twenty minutes later, the 1-800 numbers called and said the inspector said I wasn’t able to give him clear direction to the location of the car, so I have to reschedule. I was shocked and modified.
Not only he said he would call me right back but didn’t do so, but also he didn’t make an effort to work with me at all. It’s 30 degree weather, and I stood outside for 20 minutes waiting for him during my work hour. Unacceptable. It’s beyond unprofessional and lack of courtesy of other people’s time.
Oh and he cursed on the phone when he found out he’s in the wrong garage. I let it go figure maybe he just had a bad day; but what happened after that is inexcusable and terrible customer service. If I have a choice of changing the inspector and/or the inspection company, I would.
Unfortunately the leasing company picked this company, and I don’t really have a choice. I hope leasing company will realize what kind of Inspection Company they are using and consider changing it.

I had an appointment for a Saturday in June from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The receptionist specified that I wanted it as close to 9 a.m. as possible. I received a call at 12:30 or later from the inspector telling me he was at least 40 minutes away. He wouldn't arrive until after 1 p.m.
I told him to forget, then tried to call him back to tell him to come anyway, and he didn't pick up several calls.
I'm probably better off that he didn't get close to my car. By the time I turn it in, it will be in excellent condition and I don't need advice or evaluation from a loser.
Error on Inspection Done for Lease Return by Toyota Camrey
I had a lease Toyota Camrey, and was return it.. South Toyota Finance has a company, DataScan Field Services, who does the inspection on the car that was done on July 10.
The man who did the inspection was making the inspection, and I notice he was looking at the front bump, I informed him the bumper had a scatch and was fixed and repainted. I also pointed out to size of a pinhead round indents vertically about 6 or 8 inches apart, and told him those indents came with the car. The dealer told me those indentation were there, so if I wanted to put tags in the front, I could have someone or the dealer drill the holes, which I did not want. I went back to the office since I was working.
I went home and in even I went on the web to check if the report was finallized. I found that he marked them that the front bumper has damages and charges of 126.00 for indents that came with car. I call DataScan Field Services and they told to call Toyota Finance, they had to reopen the case, than Toyota Finance told me to call DataScan Field Services. They kept giving me the run round.
Finally they told me if they have to return to reinspect the car, I would have to pay for the inspection.
I was planning to return the car and purchase another one, but I do not do business with companies who deals with crocket company.

Data Scan Field Service is a who ddoes the inspections of Lease Cars for Toyata Finance. Person came to my work to inspect the car on 7/11/2012.
There are 2 indents round, size of a pin on the center of the front bumper. The indents are about 8 inches apart vertifical . At the time of the of lease the dealer told me those indents was for front tags, and I could have them drill the hole or have someone do it for me. I did not want that done, so the indents mark are there.
They are trying to say that it was not the indentation they charging me for what they call damage. The said that the body shop did not do it right. They are lying, because he put a L shap label on each indent and took a picture of the indents.
If it was the pumber, why did he not take a picture of the whole front bumper. If this is not corrected, my next step is write to BBB.
Error on Inspection Done for Lease Return by Toyota Camrey
After my first complaint regarding third party company who did the inspection make a wrong abservation regarding the pumper. I was contacted by a lady who works for Toyota Finance called me.
When I told her about Inspector Labeling the 2 indents that are for tags, if you choose to have a tag in the front. I would have to have someone drill *** in those 2 indents, but I choose not to. She told me that it was not the indents that fail the pumper that it was who painted the pumper did not do a good job. I told them that was not true.
If it were true, than why did they not take a picture of the whole pumper, all they did took a picture of the 2 indents. Next step if they try to charge me for the bumper, I will write a complaint to the BBB both Toyota Finance and the inpection company.

Unfortunately it's a lot of bad educated inspector on the market and the reason is they don't pay enough to hire qualified people and the customer have to pay sometime for that
