Worst Customer Service/Fraud/Stealing from customers
- - Customer alleges rude clerks, no receipt shown, unauthorized tip added by email; cake charged $25 vs $19.99 and $100 overcharge with return issues.
I went into a local ice cream store this past Sunday 7/29 and bought an ice cream cake from this store...EARLY WARNING-DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE EVER-THE CLERKS CURSE YOU AND TELL YOU TO SHUT UP AND WILL NOT SHOW YOU A RECEIPT-YOU MUST HAVE IT EMAILED SO YOU CANNOT SEE UNTIL YOU READ YOUR EMAIL THAT THEY ADDED A $5-10 OR MORE IN TIP YOU DID NOT AUTHORIZE.
I bought a cake that was supposed to cost $19.99. When the clerk rang it up he told me it was $25.00..! I let this go because he showed me the shelves but did not clearly show any of these charges but I found they charged me $100 more including a $5.63 tip?????!
Please tell me who adds a tip for an amount like that?
When I brought back the cake 20 minutes later they gave me a hard time like you would not believe and this is now a legal matter.
Stay tuned. Fraud and stealing. You can't make it up.
