I had my account frozen due to pregnancy. I had a large amount of money in my account between $300-500, I was never notified of the change.
I didn't know they were bought out until recently.
I called both Palm Beach Tan and $5 Tan and neither have my money. I can't find any contact information outside of these two businesses.

I had at least 100.00 in store credit and now that it’s palm beach tab they are claiming my credits didn’t transfer over. How do I proceed with getting my money back?

PISSED OFF
Darque Tan is now owned by PalmBeach Tans - and they are actually the ones that have awful service... After trying to reach them for 6 months - (a live person to speak to) - they told me I could not get my money back from DT - that timeline had expired - well if someone would have called me back or answered the phone, it would not have been past the deadlines. they suck
CANNOT FIND ANYONE FOR HELP IN REFUNDS -AND PALM BEACH TAN IS EVEN WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Always late 4 Opening every locations !
I going 2 cancel my member shep very unprofessional never opening on time so feasted! Not suggesting to sign up with them .

There's an annual renewal fee of $25 that gets charged every year even if you put your account on hold. Customer service won't credit anything back regardless. Save your money. There are better tanning services out there. This one wants to trick you out of your money.
I have repeatedly put my account on hold trying to use up a dollar balance. I should have cancelled earlier as now, I have been charged beyond the balance I was going to spend because my membership became active again.
Customer service is not helpful. They won't modify or credit anything.
Once this month is over, since I just got billed again, I'm cancelling forever. No business deserves my hard earned income if they don't work with you on relevant issues.

NEVER A PROBLEM UNTIL THIS EMPLOYEE DEVON
My husband & I have been club members at Darque tan for over 3 years. I can honestly say that until recently, we never had any issues with any employee at any of the locations we frequent.
Recently we have had to deal with an employee named Devon & she has made us think twice about continuing to be members there. She is out of control with her polices & trys to enforce laws that are not even laws of MN. I am sick & tired of dealing with her that I have to go outta of my way to go to a location that I know she doesnt work at. There are several bad reviews about the main location she works at.
Im not sure why she gets away with her behavior?
None of the other employees like her either. Get rid if her or continue to lose alot more business!

Darque tan at Huntington ave, in the beginning of march I used a Groupon value in $360 the person who attended me at the store asked me if I wanted to convert the Groupon into a membership for free having access to everything for one month I agreed with that but she never mentioned that I had to be charge at least one month before cancel the membership, that was the FIRST mistake, without nothing to do about it I paid one month and went to cancel the membership where they told me I have to paid a fee because I was in an annual plan SECOND mistake: I had no idea she put me in an annual plan, the day I signed the contract I asked her If I could cancel the membership and she said that was fine for the 10 of April( today's date) she never mentioned any fees, I'm so disappointed with this service where they don't explain everything I don't want to pay a leaving fee that I had no idea I had to pay is not professional when these people don't explain everything before make you sign plus I did tell that girl I didn't want to pay anything else and I was going to cancel after my month she told me that was completely fine.

Worst customer service ever..i sent an email to change my account on the 10th which is the last day too make changes to your account. I never received an email back letting me know they changed my account.
I had to call them 2 days later just to have customer serivce tell me they did not receive my email and that i needed to forward it to them again..which i did 7 more times and they kept trying to tell me they did not receive it everytime ( which is very hard to believe)..they just wanted to be able to charge me an extra $30 for something i could not use anymore due to me becoming pregnant.
Once i threaten to contact the owner she said oh ok he's not here today but give me five minutes and I'll change it for you... They are THE BIGGEST SCAM ARTISTS AROUND...DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THEM...

Do not ever sign up with darque tan ! I cancelled my contract because one of their employees stole a bracelet I left behind and they did nothing about it ..
But that's not the worst part . I go to check my bank account and they have been drafting 48 dollars from my account for the last 6 months after I cancelled . I called the store and she said she does not have record of the cancellation , I said that's funny you are the girl I cancelled with after y'all did nothing about the theft , I said do you remembef that . She says yes , but I don't have your cancellation paper , I said well what did yoh do with it ?
At that point she told me to contact their customer service which has yet to contact me back !
I guess I will need to shut down my bank account before they charge another month ! Darque Tan I will see y'all in court!

Called 5/18/2016 Coupon $10.00 one spray tan first time customer, Expires on 6/25/2016.
DT: Young lady explains "email yesterday said do not take anymore coupons.
ME: Wow, it expires 6/25/2016
DT: Well you can come in and I can try, but it says no.
Me: No thanks.
DT: Well if that is the date, it should be honored, but I don't know.
Me: Thanks Anyway. and hung up.
A potential returning customer lost, very disappointed, and certainly have trust issues in their company and services. Do not send out coupons Darque Tan if you are unable to honor your word.

This place sucks. You sign up and they tell you that you would have a yearly fee but charge you before the year is up.
I have only had this membership for five months then you call customer service and they don't care. They would rather loose a customer then help out. I pay 42.77 a month and this is how they treat their customers.
Well im cancelling mine. I will go somewhere else.
Tanning Review
The employees at darq tan are rude and unprofessional and the fact that you can't tan when you want is ridiculous. You must wait 24 hours to tan and if you come 5 minutes early they won't let you tan.
So you are waiting to 24hours for what??? I think I know when I am over exposing myself I don't need them to police me.........
Greedy company
My cancer doctor advised I not tan. I had put my account on hold status with $78.00 in my account and paid the $5.00 a month to have it held there for about 6 months.
They put it back in your account when you start tanning again. I couldn't start again. I went in to cancel the account but of course they kept all the money, no refunds. I emailed their corp office with what I explained here but again, no.
So they let you pay them for Nothing!! Not to mention the huge overpriced tanning lotions and gels they try to sell you.
Its a joke. On me!

We opened an account with the snakes and could not get them to stop sucking $47.00 a month from our account. We went there twice and was assured each time by a manager only to find the next month it still comes out.
The customer service hung up on us 3 times. I finally located a district manager Anthony who told us to shut down our checking account otherwise they will continue to take it out - even though we have stopped using them. The bank will not stop the withdrawals as it was initiated by the merchant and had to stopped by them.
So we ended up shutting the whole account down. What a pain in the ***.
Darque Tan Bad Billing Practices
I went into the Darque Tan retail location and asked for a cancelation after having the tanning service for months. I was told I should put a freeze on the account for 3 months, and that way if I decided to come back I wouldn't have to pay another fee.
I was assured I would not receive further charges as long as I canceled by the end of the freeze. 3 days before the end of the freeze I called to cancel again.
I stated I did not need the services. They charged me again and would not remove fee.

I had a membership, I went to the my Darcie Tan Lication, cancelled the membership. I have since had over a year of bank drafts from Darius Tan but the do not even show me as a customer there now. How do I get my money back from a company that continues bank drafts after I cancel and then claims they have no record of me.
