Witnessed bad customer service
We just watched a Daiso supposed store manager at Hornsby Daiso be quite rude to an old man. He asked the old man to leave the store after this person had confused an old man with a walking stick about where to queue to pay.
More than once, he asked the man to leave the store. Admittedly, the frustrated elderly man was yelling, but it was also understandable as the manager had confused multiple customers at the same time on where to queue. If it confused young parents, it is only understandable that it would confuse an old man.
This situation could have been diffused if there was a bit more empathy and understanding from the manager. When my child and i were leaving, we saw the lines all be confused again as well, so it is clear there was no "management" of where the queue was in the first place.

BUT I went to Daiso and the worst customer service ever from about 3 employees - an older lady (store manager on name badge) that just pointed and told me just over there when I asked for a product and was a extremely rude. A lady with a deep accent calling me mate when I approached the counter and then pretty much spoke to be rudely and pushed me away.
And a young girl who was very hard to understand when asking where a product was. Ive been to that shop 3 time before and always had a nice experience with a couple of girls that not seem to be there anymore

Really dissapointed, Visited this afternoon (Sunday 16th dec 2018) and got The WORST service I have ever recieved ANYWHERE!
I used to love daiso, but the way both front counter girls spoke with us and acted was totally disheartning and disapointing.
Daiso has a giant stand out front with Cards 4 for $2.80 (see the photos attached) It doesnt say FROM or anything other.
So in good faith we took our 4 along with a basket full of other stuff and waited patiently in the que,
The blonde australian girl, didnt say hello or anything just "did you need a bag", i said no thankyou il put them in the bag here in my trolley thanks. She didnt reply or look at me at all, then i asked which items had she scanned before i put them into bags, she ignored me so i asked a second time only to be met with a sharp YES, I thought hmm ok maybe its been a long stressful day, customer service sucks, been there done that...
But after that, as I tried to pay with eftpos, I bumped the wrong account, My partner and I were both allready embarresed enough But she then slammed the stainless cover above the reciept printer down when it declined. I appologised again paid and then had to ask for a reciept as it sounded expensive. I steped to the side a little and checked the reciept and found that I had been charged for each card $2.80. I super polietly asked (as to not upset the blonde girl more) whyb she cut me off and snapped at me and said "only the clear plastic ones aren" I was totally surprised and polielty asked oh are you sure because we got them from the front display with the sign that said card 4 for $2.80. Thinking maybe she thought id taken them from somewhere else, She repeated herself the exact same way again only now getting more frustrated and rude. I was totally stunned and thought ok whats my option, but she then just ignored me and served the next customer.
Product availability
Daiso have the Daiso clay which all over you tube to be able to do differnet slimes. I have been in CHadstone at least 50 times asking for it and never available.
Thats ok but please have a sign up or have your staff that can speak and understand english. The customer service is sooooo pooor I dont even know how they are surving.
If there is a such a demand for this clay why dont they have boxes and boxes. It is Chaddy its a very busy shopping centre.
Daiso bring more clay in so customer can purchase the product with the demand you have created on YOU TUBE.

Bad service
so recently I went to Daiso in Melbourne QV and I had a very bad experience. I unfolded an umbrella as I wanted to buy it the lady on cash counter while busy with other customer yelled, "ma'am ma'am you do not open the umbrella and suddenly everyone was looking whom is she shouting at and when I started to fold it back she said would you mind giving it back too me because I have to fold it back again.
That is utter rudeness.
I used to be a regular customer at Daiso and also used to buy in bulk because of all the weird and good stuff that Daiso provides. It is a shame that being such a great brand the customer service was so poor.

I would like to make a complain regarding the cashier staff, Shannon (male) and store manager (name unknown) in Daiso QV Melbourne city.
My friend and I were buying a few items from this Daiso franchise, making our way to the cashier to check out. The staff on over the counter, Shannon he was putting my items in the plastic bag, while he was doing that, I requested him to please wrap 3 of my items (breakable container with lip on) with paper so they wont break. Immediately he stared at me for a little while (showing a slight dissatisfied expression) but wrapped them up anyway so I may be over sensitive with his expression and let it go. I remembered picking up only 9 items but i was charged with 10 items so i stopped and checked and i was over charged by 1 item so i went back up and told Shannon that there's been a mistake. All he did was kept quiet, looked through my items, and said "well, there's nothing i can do about it" and he just stared at me. I then asked "how can i get a refund then?" he replied " I am telling you that this is beyond what I can do, I can't give you a refund". I was extremely disappointed with his customer service, despite the fact that he wasn't being helpful or informative he just replied me rudely. So i asked him again and I asked " I need a refund, so what can I do about this?" he replied "just stay here and wait for my manager, may take sometime and walked off.
That was extremely not helpful and rude. Not long after, his manager, an Asian lady came up and I told her that I needed a refund as there's been a mistakes and I told her that her staff member haven't been helpful and was rather rude, she just stared at me and ignored me completely, then refunded my money and that's all. I asked her where can i make a complaint, she said "just go online to Daiso's website if you want".
I have to express that it was an extremely disappointing experience. I've been to other Daiso franchise and they were always so pleasant and helpful, specially the one on the corner of Swanston St and Bourke St, the staffs there are always pleasant.
I hope you could put some consideration into improving the customer services in this QV Melbourne city franchise. Such arrogant, rude and dissatisfying customer services simply cannot be appreciated.

Such a Bad Behavious
4/3/2016 afternoon around 5 pm to 6pm At the Parramatta Westfield Diaso Japan my friend and I went for asked about did they hire any employees at the moment in their store, because we want a job at Diaso but I don't know how to get it. At that time there is one of the manager or assistant manager her name was Sonia.
What she was doing is my friend's job resume she took it and than she just rip the whole resume in front of us. I found this is so rude by doing that even if don't need any employees you can just tell in a nice way and you can tell how to apply it.
I will never ever want to work at Diaso any more because of today's bad experience. I will never shop again and also I will tell all the friends around us to not shop because this is very bad how can they doing their customer service to the customers.

My 9 year old daughter bought the wrong size jars
When we went in to ask for a refund we were refused.
We didn't have a option of buying the correct size jars as thy don't sell them
Refund refused could only exchange
What a disgrace as we didn't want anything else from their store

Well, this is my opinion, but I think Daiso has really nice store members/employees.
But you may also be right.
