To cancel monthly donation—can’t afford it!

- - I am outraged that Daily Kos charges to cancel an automatic donation and will dispute the charge unless they respond to my email.
The person who communicated with me was fine. However, I am outraged that this system is set up by Daily Kos so that I have to pay in order to cancel an automatic donation.
Instead, I will dispute the charge unless my email directly to Daily Kos asking for the matter to be taken care of gets the necessary response. Charging donors to stop donating is beyond unacceptable...a good way to discourage people from donating again and a highly questionable business practice.
User's recommendation: Don't agree to automatic monthly donations--it's nopt only hard to cancel, you have to pay for the connection in order to do so. Outrageous!

I replied to an article by a Black woman about how oppressed the blacks are. The truth is that they went through a rough period during the era of race based slavery.
But, the facts are that slavery has a very long history in the world, including blacks having blacks as slaves. Am I excusing the history of US slavery in the US? Of course not. But, I am very very tired of hearing Blacks in the US whinge about their special case.
And DailyKos decided to block me from commenting any further. So, there is nothing they can do that will ever get me to use their site ever again.

Originally, my correspondence to the Help Center was occasionally intercepted ,when the Troll noticed.
Then, my computer would freeze when on Daily Kos, ONLY!
Then, my comments weren't accepted, all with no discussion.
Now, can't even access their content from their emails. Beggin'-for-$ emails are relentless.
There's no valid phone # around. Would re-establish a snail-mail thread, but thought it would be more effective digitally.

You referred to RFK, Jr as a Nazi-cavoting anti-vaxxer. I doubt that you have ever listened to him speak.
He is brilliant and very much one of us. I do not know where you got information about Nazi-cavorter but RFK, Jr is soooo far from holding Nazi beliefs that he did not deserve that.
So is anyone that chose not to get a vaccine get the name of anti-vaxxer? I do not believe that the medical INDUSTRY acted in the best interest of the American people in the way they absolutely tried to destroy anyone who was against getting or promoting a vaccine. I do not get vaccines and was fired from a volunteer job at the blood bank for refusing.
People lost their livelihood because they refused the vaccine. We are losing our freedom of choice about anything medical!!! (and lots of other things). RFK compared the vaccine mandates to the Holocaust.
He could have chosen his words better and just compared the vaccine mandates to Nazi Germany. HE WAS NOT "CAVORTING" WITH *** Please retract that statement!
