Went and saw a 2008 Acura TL that appeared to have 110,000 miles on the dash. I almost bought the car. planned to buy it the next day. went home and did a carfax report on it and I thank the lord I did! It's last known mileage was over 200,000 miles.. So between the time they purchased it at an auction and listed it on Craigslist for sale they managed to either *** into the car's comp. or just swapped the comp out for another w lower mileage.. Worst part is when I tried to call the mva,dmv, and MD state police to report this crime; nobody cared enough to even take the info or the vin # or even the perpetrator's shop address!! No wonder these guys are getting away w it! Everyone kept saying to me that because I didn't actually buy the car that no crime had been committed! What A JOKE! Buyer BEWARE!!!
