Ford Ranger motor replacement @ D&D Auto and Fleet Care-Jacksonville,FL
I had a motor replaced in my 2003 Ford Ranger at D&D in Jacksonville, FL. Needless to say how disappointed I have been with the workmanship and customer satisfaction. The workmanship was poor at best and they didn't appreciate me as a customer even though I had been a repeat customer for almost five years, They cam highly recommended by a good source here in town. I have had many major things done to my vehicle and always have had to take it back for items they didn't take care of. The time they took to make repairs was totally unacceptable taking as long as 2 -3 months. They got other jobs done and out the door while letting mine set. The last experience will be my last one. The last repair consisting of numerous issues that caused me to find another shop and when I did they said the knew of them and that the job was totally unprofessional. They replaced my engine and failed to install new spark plugs which I now have to get done because two cylinders are misfiring and its been only a thousand miles since the replacement. They put the wrong transmission in the new motor housing, the check engine light came on before I ever left their shop. They failed to finish connecting my a/c system which was fine before they worked on the vehicle. They only gave me a 90 day warranty which when it expired last week I had only traveled. approximately 1000 miles. It is hard to deal with the owner of this company because he has a very bad disposition and talks down to his customers like they are ***. I also don't like to bring the vehicle in because they keep it forever. I can go on forever with me describing my experiences with them. I will never recommend them to anyone and I plan to take my business elsewhere and will try my best to steer potential customers away from these people. I would suggest NAP really reconsider them as a certified care center. I have thought about taking legal actions against them and may still even though it is not affordable. All I can say is Thanks for nothing Mark and Debbie and don't look for me to come through your doors ever again. And mark you are the most unprofessional person I have dealt with in a long time. You'll never get to sya "what don't you understand" to me again. Well the items mentioned above are brief I am not going to spend my time writing a book about the experiences at D&D. Frank Tatum
