Cyr painting took my money for a job not done and never returned it as he stated in a letter he would.
- - Met John Cyr for a remodel; he asked for $5,000 to retain workers and promised a refund if the job didnt go through; money not returned and no reply.
I was thinking of remodeling my home and contacted John Cyr to do it. On June 7, 2013 I meant with Mr.
Cyr to go over possible plans for the remodel. At that time Mr. Cyr ask for 5000.00 to get, as he stated, "guys lined up" and he needed the money to retain their services. He also stated he would return the money if the job didn't go through and provided a letter stating that.
After a couple of days and talking to other people I found his price for the job to be to high and decided to cancel the job with him. When I told him this he said to give him a few days and he would return the money. After waiting a few days and Mr. Cyr didn't show up with the money I called him.
He never returned my calls. I sent him a certified letter requesting the return of the money and still haven't received any response.
