Use other websites, stay away from them
This is a fraud. They charge you for one CV 1-2 dollars, then it turns out that you have subscribed and all of a sudden after several days your card was charged around 25 dollars.
Information about being subscribed while purchasing a CV is basically grey, extra small text on a grey background, hardly visible. It is 1.8 according to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines while the minimum must be 4.5.
You don't receive an email saying that you have subscribed as well. And forget about the refund; support says they never give a refund.

When you buy the cv you create they enroll you on a trail with auto monthly payments which is not clear. They charged me for $24.95 without any days notice.

I was making a CV on that website, and they mentioned its free, it takes long time to make a CV , after I was done with it, they asked me for 2 $ to download, which was really frustrating, because of the effort I had on making that CV that they claimed that its for free, then I was forced to pay, then later they took 26 $ from the credit card, they refused to confess that they cheated and refused to give me my money back. I created a resume on Cvmaker website, after all the editing when I was about to download my resume it showed that I need to pay $2.95 to download it and so I paid. After a week I surprisedly found my bank account was charged $19.95 to Cvmaker.
I logged in to the website and found out I had a monthly membership which I didn't have a clue about. I then found on the frequently asked questions they said the $2.95 was for the 7 days trial and after the trial they will automatically charge $19.95 per month. Why they didn't say a word about the trial or membership thing when I first downloaded the resume if I know it's a monthly fee I won't even pay a cent. This is nothing short of robbery!
We have the right to know what were buying and if there are any further charges, no company should steal your money silently and told you thats their *** criteria! What a shabby company!

Exactly the same thing happened to me. I clicked on the ad it directed me to help someone make a CV but did not mention about an auto-enrolment into membership.
When I raised a complaint via customer chat, I get informed that it's on the homepage and they sent an email informing of the same.
The problem is they sent it to the person I made the CV for and not me, therefore I have no way of knowing if it was communicated or not. Charged USD 24.95 for nothing
