I went into the Sovereign Bank at 8808 5th Avenue, Bay Ridge, and I was told they threw those thug tow truck drivers Custom Wreckers out. They got a guard instead.
Ofcourse, why would you want a tow truck company that hides towed cars around the block, never brings the towed cars to the pound, not checking them in with the precinct AND to top it all off charging over $214 in CASH to get your car back when the sign says $135. Thank you Sovereign Bank and better yet thank you NY Post for revealing their SCAM, "City Cracks Down On Scammer Tow Companies". Excellent work!

Custom Wreckers in Dunkin Donuts 9243 4th avenue Bay Ridge
They are no longer allowed to tow from Sovereign Bank anymore, they have gotten their last $244 from there. Dunkin Donuts is days away from being removed as well.
The fee of $217 and $244 is illegal. You are not allowed to charge 1 price for credit card and a different price for cash and not allowed to hide towed cars around the corner or hide in Staples parking lot, the fee is $125 plus tax not $244.
You have some big fat guy walk up to you and heckle you for the cash. Sovereign Bank is now at peace – thank God.

THERE ARE 2 LOCATIONS, ONE IS SOVEREIGN BANK 8808 5TH AVENUE AND THE OTHER IS DUNKIN DONUTS 9243 4TH AVENUE BOTH ARE IN BAY RIDGE BROOKLYN, GUY BY THE NAME OF HECTOR IS A THIEF WHO REPRESENTS CUSTOM WRECKERS TOW COMPANY 2481 MCDONALD AVE BROOKLYN NY THEY WAIT FOR SOVEREIGN BANK TO CLOSE AND ANYONE THAT GOES INTO THE PARKING LOT EVEN IF ITS TO WITHDRAW MONEY AT ITS ATM GETS TOWED BUT THE PROBLEM IS THE ILLEGAL FEES OF $240 OR $ 270 DOLLARS IN CASH ONLY TO GET YOUR CAR BACK. IF YOU SEE A SIGN THAT SAYS WARNING AND IN THAT SIGN SAYS CUSTOM WRECKERS THEN STAY AWAY CALL UP THE DCA TO COMPLAIN TO GET THERE LICENSE REVOKED.

I was towed in front of a house for blocking a driveway that I was not blocking. I was towed by Custom Wreckers.
When I called he said that he would meet me at his yard at 4:30 and it :15$ 200.00. I had to get there by bus. It was Sunday and desolate. He finally showed up at 5:15.
First he tried to get me to sign a blank bill. Then he filled out 2 bills and one said it was a consensual tow. I said it wasn't a consensual tow. He said that it was an extra charge for coming in on Sunday.
He did one bill for the $125 that the city allows and a separate one for $ 75. for coming in on Sunday.
when I said something he said that I was welcome to come back on Monday to get my car. I live on Long Island and this wasn't really an option, so I paid it and put a complaint into consumer affairs.

Thanks to custom wreckers i will no longer patronize Lowe's in Park Slope Brooklyn. Our car was towed after stepping out of the nearly empty parking lot momentarily.
We were planning on going to Lowe's but thanks to Custom wreckers we couldn't. How is this good for Lowe's or any the business in the area? Yes there are a few tiny signs.
Nevertheless, this seems predatory and just plain poor business. I will avoid any business with which custom wreckers is associated.

They are all over Brooklyn. Watch for those signs and don't patronize those establishments.
They are now doing business as Fusion as well. According to Dept.
of Consumer Affairs, the fee they are charging at Lowes for towing is well in excess of the permitted amount of 125 bucks. This company should really have their licence revoked.

What would you do if you did not have a tow truck for a living? You are a bunch of low lives that need to be put out of business and in jail where you belong with your other cockroach friends.
I was in the post office a few weeks ago, a guy on line IN THE POST OFFICE noticed his car getting towed and ran out to stop the tow driver. If you're going to the post office DONT PARK AT THE BANK!!
