Well Self Storage Community of 3103 N Decatur Rd, Scottsdale, GA 30079. Its official because the Owner, District Manager or Management, has refused to adequately address and put a stop to the cooking and smoking of *** in the storage building Mold has started to set in.

Its possible it could be coming from the person with the abandoned car parked in the parking lot that someone has been living out of for the last 4-5 months, this was the time I started smelling it in the building and informed ALL of the above persons. Or the new manager because I have smelled the odor while he was present in the building as well.

Nerveless mold is starting to form and *** and or Crack is the fastest way to get it started. With that check youre belongs BECAUSE THINGS ARE GOING TO START TO MOLD.

Given the fact they have cameras this could have and should have been prevented. And there need to be laws so they could be held responsible. They allowed this to happen

Stolen property

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I had my ATV stolen 7 hrs after first being placed in storage The management has not been very conforming at all with this issue which to me is a big issue. I sent them 3 letters explaining why they were at fault with their inadequate security their solution was to offer me a for what they call a settlement of $1000 less than what I asked for as $1500 I call it hush money because its a waiver of rights so that I can not sue them ever or write poor reviews, that agreement was breached by the storage facility in september 2023.

I did in fact sue them in feb 2024 and they tried to get out of the first trial by mention of the breached agreement, the court reset the trial at a later date and the outcome was a ruling for defendant but not a dismissed case.

bottom line is the storage facility are bulldozers that take advantage of anyone seeking a fair and professional approach to business these days. they are game players to use the justice system to work on their side for financial gain

You have to buy your own storage insurance policy. No self-storage facility covers any type of damage or theft to your belongings.

Complaint against workers

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I dislike that the storage has a dumpster on site but doesnt allow anyone to utilize it, especially when moving out. The sign on the dumpster said to ask manager for assistance, yet, there was not any assistance to provide.

The staff are not able to provide suggestions on where to dump the items or have any options in place. The staff member, Makayla, was very unprofessional evidenced by her telling me to calm down when expressing my frustration with her accusing me of leaving my items in the corridor somewhere. Makayla witnessed myself and my partner beginning to dump our items in the dumpster. She explained that I wasnt Allowed to dump and I said okay and wanted to close out my storage.

My partner brought the items back from the dumpster and by the loading area. Makayla stated she had to see my unit before closing out. Makayla returned and showed me a picture stating a lady who was here all morning saw a man and a lady dump there items. She showed me the picture and I told

Her 2-3 times that wasnt my items.

She kept repeating a random lady saw myself and my partner and claimed since she saw myself and my partner at the dumpster she knew it was us. There wasnt even enough time for my partner to go to a random aisle to place items there by the time Makayla went to check. Additionally, Makayla claimed to be paying attention at myself and my partner dumping but if she was, she wouldve saw that I had Two mattresses, and a dresser. The picture showed a round table and more.

I also Said she can check the camera or she can come with me outside to see my items where my partner left it while I closed Out. I also provided her a picture of where my items were while I am waiting to close out. Once I was Told I couldn't Dump the items, I understood And came to close out so I can Dump my items elsewhere. It appeared she assumed I left My items in the aisles because she saw me by the dumpster outside and instead of professionally investigating, she decided to keep telling me what a lady told her and then have her manager, who was dark skin with long hair and in the middle of helping an elderly lady and had to stop to check my unit, make the call.

She also heard me call her dumb to my partner while outside but again, I was Frustrated being accused. That doesnt give a staff member the right to tell me to calm down & tell me she didnt appreciate being called dumb, although she is delaying me and her manager helping someone else because of her incompetence. The manager also returned from checking my unit and said to Makayla to close the storage but did not intervene, did not acknowledge me, or provide any de-escalation, nothing.

To me, her demeanor appeared bothered and she did not want to properly and professionally handle the situation occurring. Overall, I felt disrespected and I would not want to rent with cube smart again if there are not proper protocols and procedures in place for unique circumstances such as this one.

Stolen ATV fro Taunton MA

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

in June Of 2023 My ATV was stolen within 7 hrs of first being placed in storage at cubesmart and because of their old outdated camera which is only at the gate the ATV was easily stolen this in addition to no other cameras in the facility the thieves knew the gate would open without a code so which leads me to believe they had assistance from within the facility. they also did not cooperate with taunton police.

and false advertisement that they claim the manager lives on premises which he does not.

then they offer me $1000 hush money which they call a settlement and breached that agreement. these people are dirt bags stay away from this place.

Theft, stolen items

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I recently had items stolen from a storage unit. And my conclusion is similar, that the lock is somehow being picked.

Either its being picked, or when they sell the lock to the customer, the locks are already compromised with the key copied. I purchased a lock from the CubeSmart facility and it has 4 holes drilled in the back of the lock. Pad Disk Locks should not have any holes in them except for the key entry. It must be a theft ring because the evidence and sequence of events require some intelligence.

Either the thiefs are the employees, former employees, or also unit renters. And either they are doing the lock picking, or key copying, or passing the info on particular units that might have value. The actual building housing the units have NO CAMERAS. So once someone is inside the hallway, there are NO CAMERAS on them, they are free to do whatever.

Yes there are SOME cameras on the facility but not every square inch. I suspect the thieves secretly take items slowly over time as to not draw attention. I noticed items starting to go missing but did not conclude that the storage unit was being trespassed. I would be a lot of people have lost items to these thieves and simply do not remember the items gone because it the stolen items are taken slowly and secretly over time.

To pull this off over time requires the thieves to have some intel on the units and or a swift way to get in, either they are expert lock pickers or already have a key copy of a compromised lock that was re-packaged and sold as new to the customer. Detectives should look into every storage facility as these types of thefts are being pulled off.

About dumpster being locked and not being able to dump when going through storage.

Dumpster being locked, and not being able to weed out my belongings and getting rid of what I don't need. I understand that the dumpsters are misused. There should be a camera, and someone to lock up after 10 p.m.

Return

Cube Smart did nothing to help us. We bought a blanket for moving a tv to cover it in a UHaul.

When the movers came they told us they did not need the blanket which was $26.

We returned it to CubeSmart in Merritt Island Florida but the lady would not give me money because we did not have receipt. I had my phone showing the transaction with Bank of America deducting $26. She said that was not good enough.

We left for Michigan the next day and tried calling CubeSmart in Kalamazoo Michigan. By that time I had found the actual receipt, but they would not take it either.

After numerous calls to District Managers, I finally gave up and put in a dispute with Bank of America to get $26 back. They gave it to me during their investigation.

So I guess Bank of America took the hit because Cube Smart was so cheap. Would never recommend CubeSmart to anyone.

Unacceptable business practices

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

My 4yr old contract with a local rental facility was bought out by Cubesmart in 2022. I've had no issues until now, Oct 2023.

My acct has been paid on time via auto pay every month. I access my unit frequently and I had noticed some much needed updates, new paint and repaving was ongoing. I did receive an email alerting to these updates in June of 2023, including an end date of 8-23. No where in that email did it state that my locks could possibly be cut for whatever reason.

No email, no phone call, no voicemail, no written letter, nothing. Not only am I out the cost of those locks ( $55+ at Home Depot) but I could not get into my unit and my gate code was changed. It was after office hours when I discovered this nonsense so upon returning home, I logged in online only to find out that my rent was increased! Again, ZERO notice of this change.

The very next morning, a manager at the facility returned the irate message I left. Her complete disregard for my concerns and blatant attempt to get me on the defensive side of the issue was more than I could take. As she was asking me condescending questions she thought it was a good idea to also be eating something crunchy and loudly smacking her lips. I ended the call.

Now I need attention from higher.

In the very least, I want her relocated, fired, demoted, some kind of resolution. At the most, corporate needs to reevaluate their own Code of conduct and mission statements because they are way off target.

More to your story. So you had no in person or over the phone contact with anyone at this company, ever until you called about the locks/rent?(excluding initial contact). And every month the rent was paid on time?

No access to unit

So the storage unit number is H7 and it's rented to a misty Blair 520339**** is the number attached to account 500363**** at the location on 519 East Prince Rd Tucson, Az. 85705

This is the issue I paid $430 for the delinquent bill the last time in order to gain access to the storage unit Misty had given me the gate code to get in so she allowed me to get in there however upon paying the $430 I still did not have access to the unit because I am not on the account I haven't been able to reach the account holder until recently and she keeps telling me she added me on the account upon further investigation when I went to CubeSmart today I spoke with Matt and he told me that the payment is now 19 days past due so even if she added me on the account I cannot get in my storage anyways so basically I paid the $430 for the back payments that it was delinquent but had not had the opportunity to enter the unit to get my property out of there as I stated before I just want to get my things out of your storage facility without any problem.

I've already paid without having access to the unit I should not have to pay now that it's due again and it's 19 days delinquent I never had access to get into the storage to get my things out like I said. Can we resolve this issue immediately please?

Unsatisfactory and unsecured storage facility

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

The cubesmart on S 6th Ave Tucson, Az is the most insecure facility i have ever seen. The gate is constantly broken.

The door to the hallway in which my storage unit resides is broken so that anyone can walk into it. Ivetold the sight manager several months ago. She only now claims to have a work order on for the door. And cameras were not working until recently?

That is totally unacceptable! Also, the walls between each unit is so flimsy that a padlock will not stop someone from actually breaking in. The manager of this facility has been notified of these problems and has only now claims to have reported them. Another client left a huge mess in front of my storage unit and the manager failed to clean it so that the next day i had to mop the floor myself.

She is incompetent and she uses her kids for child labor in doing the menial tasks that is HER job. Nepotism is illegal the last i checked. She has evicted me which is fine. I caused the reason for that and take full responsibility for that.

Bit in the process she has called me a liar in front of others and that is defamation of chatacter, I will not suffer. If she is not removed from her position, i will soon be filing a defamation lawsuit against cubesmart
