Airline Ticket Refund Ripoff
Ordered American Airline round trip tickets in Aug., 2018 from Pittsburgh to San Diego through Cruise Wave Travel & had to cancel trip due to family emergency. American Airlines authorized a partial refund of $464, established a refund ticket number & issued this refund via EFT on 4/23/19, but was required to send it to the agency who made the reservation/payment, namely Cruise Wave Travel.
I have tried for two months to try to get this refund from them. They have given me the run-around, claimed my refund ticket no.
was not a valid one, & denied they ever received any such payment. I have told them I have documentation proving they are lying & they have now established a phone block for any further communication with them by me.
