After hearing nothing from Dr. Cruise once I left his surgical center by ambulance and then admitted to intensive care at Hoag Hospital, I waited several weeks before sending him an email demanding my $17,000 paid to him up-front be returned in full.

He has never responded.

I wouldn't advise my worst enemy to go under the knife of Dr. Joseph Cruise, Newport Beach.

A simple chin lift turned into two cardiac arrests when he injected additional anesthesia after anesthesiologist had already anesthetized me and had me stable. I spent four days in intensive care at Hoag Hospital, a hospital within minutes from his surgical center, he was said to have medical privileges at but did not.

U.S. News & World Report lists him as Hoag affiliated. He will not return my money despite the fact the procedure was stopped approximately five minutes after he injected me. I had to wait five hours to be sutured up for a plastic surgeon from Beverly Hills to put me back together.

I never got what I paid for up front, a $17,000 operation. He refuses to refund my money.
