Crown Property Management

Dependent mother, who is medically disabled, was denied occupancy due to less than perfect credit. Even though she's actually dependent on permanent disability and requires someone to care for her, Crown did not care.

I'm pretty sure that's discriminatory. Anyway, they wanted her listed as a tenant, even though the two primary tenants who pay all the bills (on time religiously) assume full liability.

They still wanted my disabled mother to have perfect credit before we were allowed to have her stay with us to receive care. This place is teetering on a lawsuit.

I have worked on various properties that are managed by Crown, they have always been helpful, professional and have paid Mty invoices on time .

Been renting from them for a couple years they always want to nitpick little stuff or accuse us of having issues with their yard when it ends up being the neighbor's yard. I don't think they've had the same person inspector duplex when they come each year which tells you there's a high turnover rate also dealt with their management which has been rude and very passive aggressive.

I could go on but it's all documented long story short as there's definitely just some discrimination going on with the management company towards my wife and I due to us being a biracial couple. Its unfortunately but it still happens. The manger was extremely unprofessional and agian we bring up safety issues like the really bad electrical that even the electrician said needs to be replaced. They also said they couldn't put central heat and air when all the duplexes beside us have the same setup and they have central heat and air same building design everything.

Just a lot of excuses and lies and poor response back always giving us a reason why they can't do something and we have a shed that's completely dilapidated about to fall over anytime. We have two small kids and if that shed fell on our kid they'd be having a big lawsuit. They need to get their crap together and treat their renters with respect especially ones like my wife and I who pay our rent on time never late.

Definitely discriminated against from this management company. My wife and I have continued document this information in case they continue to be more harassing towards us over nothing.

what a joke! we moved out and left the place super clean.

we even cleaned out their broken down refrigerator. Apartment and carpet was clean. All debris was removed. the slum lord kept our deposit stating that the carpet wasn't cleaned by a professional - although we rented a carpet cleaner and cleaned it, stating the my 1 1/2 year's old bedroom door was broken (broken when we moved it) and the place needed painting.

are you kidding me? the electrical in this apartment is scary. I warn anyone fixing to rent this place to have good insurance because there will be a fire - count my words. We have told her several times that the electrical fuses kept flipping but they didn;t care.

We didn't have hot water for an entire weekend, and come to find out it was the fuse box. Don't rent from these people if you want your deposit back because they will find a reason to keep it.
