i was shocked because I have spent thousands of dollars at Cabela's and thought they would stand by what they sell. I purchased a Carbon Express crossbow Feb 15'.
the 2nd season the limb was splintered. I went to the Buffalo NY store and was told they could not do anything and if I did not register it within 30 days of receipt the manufacturer would not either. I found that hard to believe and the warrantee with the paperwork stated guaranteed for 5 years. I went home frustrated and called Carbon Express.
They were a bit shocked about Cabela's as well. Excellent experience with Carbon Express , sent both limbs and it was repaired within a week. it cost me $54.00 for the repair which should have been free with Cabelas according to Carbon Express.
really think twice when purchasing from Cabelas. i will not ever again

I bought this bow from a friend, who had only had it a month, he was going to send it back, mostly because he prefers hunting with a compound bow, i liked it so i bought it from him, i shot it 12 times and limbs broke

this crossbow is absolutely brilliant. its small and packs a punch whether using the iron shot or crystal darts.. as for the seller, good communicator with quality product. my only gripe would be the price. its about $20 per unit more, than what id like to pay for it....
