Crosman

Hello, I have bought the Crossman R1 style air rifle. In fact, I own two of them.

I've had these probably around 6 months or so, have not seen an absurd amount of usage, yet both magazines to each R1 have failed. I've lost a silly amount of money attempting to 'get it right,' assuming it was just an error on my behalf. But two of them doing the same thing isn't likely. I looked to replace it and the cost is so great that I'd be better off buying a whole new rifle anyway.

That would lead to me having 3 of these sitting around not functional.

I am curious if there is some kind of recall or any recourse I have to rectify this situation.

I bought a Crosman CO2 pellet rifle from Wal Mart for $84. Once it was delivered and I had read up on everything and tried it out, it didn't perform well at all. By far, it was the sorriest and most useless gun I've ever shot or owned. I tried to return it but was told Crosman doesn't allow Wal Mart to refund. So, I was stuck with it, and I got it on the 24th of February, not even 2 weeks ago.

I spent my bill money on it because I'm having trouble with dogs coming into my yard, jumping on my dog, and getting into my trash. So, it was a sacrifice for me to get it. I would have been better off buying a child's BB gun, red rider, or daisy BB gun for kids under the age of 10. There wasn't something wrong with the gun as far as needing a part or something that Crosman could do to fix it, other than to take it off the market, or at least advertise it as a child's gun, rather than promote it as an adult gun. But in reality, it was just a child's toy.

Being so upset and stuck with a gun that is useless to me or anyone that needs a gun that shoots like a pellet gun, I threw it in the fire outside. What else should I do, it's useless as far as a gun goes. Now, I'm sitting here watching dogs destroy my yard with trash, I have no gun to run them off. Now I'm behind with the bill I didn't pay so I could get this gun. I'm hurt that I misplaced my trust in the Crosman name brand, and in the end I paid a heavy price.

Do not buy any Crosman CO2 rifles. You will forever regret it. Crosman makes some of the best CO2 pistols.

What could be right? Terrible customer service, dishonest methods, and mediocre product and design.

I had a stock lug break on an air rifle ( poor design), got the part ordered from crossman. The initial order went well, but quickly went down hill. I was told the product would ship within 24-48 hours, when the deadline wasnt met, I was told next day. As you imagine, it didnt ship.

I was told the next day, then told its packaged and waiting for USPS! Both lies. The tracking number sent was a bad link. I found it through USPS though, but lo and behold the shipping status was shipping label created, usps awaiting item.

Here I am a week and half later and no stock lugs. They quit answering my emails, and I quit calling. I normally wouldnt care about but I cant stand dishonesty. I also articulated that I was on a short dead line, but was given no option to expedite.

Still, one would think two weeks would be plenty of time for basically two screws.

Go gamo, Beeman, umarex, or literally anything but crossman. My current status is Shipment Received, Package Acceptance Pending thanks for dropping this off in a timely manner.

I am writing to you as the home of Lasermax. I purchased an LMS-2261G through Optics Planet.

After 600 rounds through my gun with the lasermax unit, the plastic part of the take down lever/ switch fell out. I returned to to your service department and after about 4 weeks I got it back. I took it to the range yesterday and fired about 50 rounds when I realized the LMS-2261G had failed again with the exact same problem but WORSE. It was getting dark and I wanted to show off my Lasermax ..

but when I went to push the switch activator ( part of the take down lever supplied and previously repaired by Lasermax, the center activating part flew out of the gun into the dirt, never to be found.

I need help and my faith in your company restored. I can supply you with copies of my bill of sale and your technician, Daryl Van Why's report.

I was all set to purchase on the new ST1 Full-Auto air rifles. However as cautious consumer I decided to read some of the written reviews from current/past recipients.

Of the 10 online reviews I read only two seemed favorable. The others recommended NOT purchasing the rifle. Their reasons were pretty much all the same, some said the item came DOA, or it worked for a bit and broke to those the said it just continually jams in the magazine area.

Personally, I like Crosman products and have a few of which Im happy with and was looking forward to getting the ST1 but, after reading the reviews and more bad than good I may look elsewhere for fully-auto rifle. I do not want to make a purchase of a product that is going to break or not work at all.

Whats really confusing is the hype and positive reviews from the video reviews on your web site and others like Pyramid Air or Air Gun Depot.

Is this false advertisement.
