CRISWELL HONDA DEALERSHIP IS VERY DISHONEST!!!!!!
DO NOT GO TO CRISWELL HONDA TO PURSHASE A CAR, SAVE YOURSELF THE HEART ACHE AND GO ELSE WHERE. I PURCHASED MY 2010 HONDA ON 2/28/13 NOT KNOWING TNE CAR HAS MAJOR PROBLEMS AND CRISWELL AD THE WARRANTY THEY FORCED ON ME ARE USELESS,ALOF A SUDDEN I WAS TOLDI HAD TO PAY OUT OF POCKET. I HAVE NO COVERAGE WHAT SOEVER,AFTER HAVING THIS CAR FOR ONLY A COUPLE OF MONTHS. THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS!!!!!!!!!!!!! im soooooo pissed of i dont even know what to do. my car has major issues with the entire breaksystem and Godknowwhat else is waiting for me.
Criswell Honda-Worst dealer
I purchased a Honda CRV, on 21st May 2011 from criswell Honda, now having 12800 miles on it and its still under the manufacturers warranty. This is what happened it last few days. I would not even send my worst enemy to Criswell Honda Dealership. On Friday (12/14/12) Suddenly my car wont start so I called Criswell Honda, and they asked me tow the vehicle to their dealership. They looked at it and told me that ignition fuse went off and they don’t have one available right now. I will have to wait until Tuesday (12/18/12). First of all for crying out loud, you are a dealership, aren’t you supposed to keep these regular items such as fuse? Anyways, I get a call on Tuesday that car is fixed so I went to pick it up. Technician drove the car to lane and I sat in to drive it further but it wont start again. Technician told that its same problem. Fuse went off. Next day (Wed, 12/19/12) I go to pick up my car after I was assured that it’s fixed again and this time real good. I picked up the car and came home. Next morning, (Thu, 12/20/12) at 8 am I get into car to drive to work, it won’t start again. No surprise here this time. I was really pissed and towed car again to dealership same response from the technician. They again fixed it and I picked up the car. It ran fine for two more days. Meanwhile I drove to New Jersey to meet some of my friends. I reached there safe, but next day my car wont start again. Same Issue. Criswell people had tested my patience bigtime in last one week. I started calling Criswell Honda, but none of them responsive and sympathetic towards my issue. All of them said its ur problem, fix it by yourselves. Go to the nearest dealership. Then I talked to service manager guy, he was also not taking the responsibility. He was very rude, condescending and insensitive to my problem. Looking at his behavior I did not want to give him an opportunity to point finger at another dealership, I towed the car back to Maryland (spent $500). Then wrote a stern email to GM of Criswell Honda, looks like that had some effect. They are looking at my car now arranged a rental car for me. Although when I talked about reimbursement of towing money, he said they wont reimburse me for that. He or GM or anybody did not say sorry to me and still did not say that it was their fault. People trust Honda for the durability on the vehicles sold, longevity of the car's life and the credibility that any servicing issues will be fixed. I've lost trust in Criswell as well as Honda. I fear that the root cause has still not been addressed and that the faulty fuse blowing up is actually owing to a much larger problem within the electric circuit. I fear this could end up in a catastrophic event such as short circuit fire resulting in life threatening injuries or death. Criswell Honda's total lack of responsiveness in addressing this issue and insensitivity towards a Customer's well being is deplorable. I hope that review here will bring it to people’s attention. At least people will notice Criswell’s ignorant and arrogant approach towards customers and they will take their business elsewhere.
"Dressing" on engine killed my battery
I bought a certified pre-owned car from Criswell Auto, paying extra for the certification. The car immediately had problems, including a slow-opening window that another Honda dealer later found was the result of a pre-purchase theft attempt, and a faulty tire pressure monitoring system. These were covered by the extended warranty, but it was still highly annoying to have to get repairs made within days of having bought a certified pre-owned car. But a third problem – a slipping serpentine belt – led to a dead car battery. That was not covered, and cost me $105 to get replaced. Criswell initially told me that they would of course cover the cost, but then never did and eventually stopped returning my calls. I have a repair invoice from the other Honda dealer that confirms the above, which I provided to Criswell.
