- - I bought CRI kits for four family members for genealogy.
- - CRI should add health markers and a way to connect distant relatives across generations.
I purchased CRI kits for 4 people in my family for genealogical and health purposes. The genetic Timeline, Ancient & Recent DNA was interesting.
The traits do not add value if you are self aware and can look in the mirror. What CRI really needs to add to their product is the following:
1. Important specific health DNA markers, for example: cancer types, cardiac conditions, mental illnesses, Parkinsons, MS, etc
2. Finding & connecting with distant relatives with common ancestors 5-6 generations back or more to aid genealogical research.
Reliable records are hard to find in the USA from 1700s back.
After 50 years of research I would have greatly appreciated this kind of service.
Hopefully in the future CRI will realize what customers would really value and provide it. I am not a Pissedconsumer, I am disappointed.

Hello, I very seldom write reviews, but I feel required to issue on in this company CGIgentics. I have been doing genealogy for many years now.
I have Ancestry DNA reports for most family members and thought I would try the CGIgentics test for perhaps more information.
The CGIgenitics test is worst then useless. I personal have traced my Ancestor through valid documentation which my family had. I have also verified it through public and legal records back seven generations and then some.
CGIgentics says I am 47% German. What a joke!!!!
The health information was so generic that is was completely useless!
This has to be a scam. Worst money I ever spent.

I ordered Cri Genetics Ancestry and Health in July. I paid for a faster service and of course that didn't happen.
I finally got money back on that. When I got my results I looked over them for quite a while . Then I even had my family look over it that had their ancestry done. Well it's very wrong.
I have very little German in me. It also says I may have blue eyes well I have brown eyes and it also says I may have red headed gene and I have black hair. It's just totally wrong any way it goes. I shouldn't have hardly any German or European in me at all.
That's mostly what it's saying.
I am of Japanese decent. Japanese wasn't on there...It's a scam
