Appalling business practices. This place should be shut down immediately.

Way too much to detail. Being investigated.

Original review Feb 04, 2023
Hi, my name is Marshon Brooks, I got a car from one of your managers named BUCK out of Portland, OR 82nd location, buck sold me a car, a 2016 jeep renegade I also sent about 4 people to him so they could get cars too and they all did, I stop sending people to buck because I realized later that buck had tricked me, buck told me that if I wanted to get a car the banks were going to want to see a good down payment, recently I talked with the bank I got a loan through and I was told that the money I put down had no bearing on them choosing to give me a loan or not, in other words BUCK lied to me, also credit yes also accepted a CASH down payment of $1,500.00 violating 15 U.S. Code § 1605 which clearly states: The finance charge does not include charges of a type payable in a comparable cash transaction.

Pursuant to 15 U.S. Code § 1611(1)(3); one can be fined up to $5,000.00 or face imprisonment for up to one year, or both, for giving false or inaccurate information or fails to provide information which he is required to disclose. In this case you, CREDIT YES, willfully violated this law when you failed to disclose and provide all information clearly to me as a consumer. I also found out that not a $1 went towards the car, if I had known that which I asked many times I would not have gotten a $22,000 car, Buck also told me the car was 4wheel drive, I made it very clear to buck that if the car wasn't 4wheel drive I didn't want it, Buck and his assistant assured me it was 4wheel drive, i like to drive at he beach and you need a 4wheel drive car to do that, I took the car I bought from credit yes to the beach and got stuck I had to pay a tow truck to pull me out the sand because the car is front wheel drive NOT 4wheel drive, Buck and his assistant apologized to me and repaid me for what I had to spent on the tow truck, I asked Buck about the car and how it was not 4wheel drive like he said, I asked him to switch the car out for a 4wheel drive, when I went to the dealership I had a brand new 2018 Chevy cruise with less the 40k miles on it and I still have it!!!

I made it clear to buck that I only wanted the car so I can go to the beach buck told me there was nothing he could do and put the blame all on his partner saying that his partner needed to be trained a bit more but at the end of the day I got the short side of the stick!!!

I'm a youtuber, I've been recording about credit yes and its practices, people see the credit yes on my plates and ask about it, I tell everybody not to deal with credit yes as 82nd which is where the credit yes is at and 82nd is known for shady car dealers all of 82nd is known for that, Buck even told me to lie to the loaner and say i gave a down payment when at the time I didn't , which is something i will be talking to the head of my loan about!! I consulted with a lawyer and was told I have a case because I have the text of him apologizing for lying to me, I have the text of him repaying me for the tow fee's and apologizing for giving me inaccurate information etc., now I'm getting married and I want to get a car for my fiancé but this was messed up and I plan to take swift action under Oregon fair consumer laws, but if there is anything you can do to help me I would definitely appreciate it
you can reach me at 503 462 **** thx a lot

False Advertisement

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I received an email from Credit Yes with a car payment approval amount and they scheduled an appointment with the Findlay Toyota. When I got to Findlay I was told they didn't have any of my information and I needed to fill out an app.

So I did. Then I was told my credit would only be ran once and it should be a 2 point drop at the most in my score. They LIED. I now have 6 new inquiries on my credit report.

Despite the advertisement where credit yes claims they can get anyone financed with little to no money down, I was told I would need $2500 as a down payment.

So not only did I spend $50 on an Uber to get the car lot and back, I now have a significant drop in my credit score thanks to all of the new inquiries, and I still have no car. They shouldn't be allowed to advertise services that they clearly cannot provide.

Credit No

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

This co. Is nothing but BS...if you dont have at least 1000g's for down payment money and if you make less than 3grand a month; you aint gettin no car.

Credityes did absolutely nothing for me ; my bad credit score was against me and Credityes was able to add absolutely nothing to the equation. Save yourself some false hope.

Save your money till you get 1000 then go to the dealer of your choice ; they ll try to work w you NOT because of Credityes but because you got the benjamins. Credityes should be renamed CreditNo and should be advertised as CashYes instead because money talks and; well...you know.

Stop the SCREAMING and YELLING

I listen to the radio during the workday and during commutes. This company has the gall to have radio ads where it sounds like the people are screaming and yelling.

The government mandated that tv ads could not be louder than the programming. They will be fined for this. Now here on the radio the same thing should apply. It is so much louder that anything else aired.

Please people need to call 888-745-**** to complain. I am afraid my ears will bleed.

This insanity needs to stop. Stand up and say we are not going to take it anymore.

What the heck does loud radio ads have to do with leaving a review on a company. Sounds like an angry elderly with nothing better to do than complain about loud noise.
