You pay them yo do a job and they tell you to do it. I read if they tell you to call a debt collector its a scam

Well its a scam

I had cards activated in my name and one used and they TLD me to put a fraud alert up I tried I can't figure it out for nothing.

And the companies one actually listened to me. I'm still waiting on the others and it seems more popular up.

The worst company ever. Wont do much for you that you cant do on your own.

Wonder if anything good said about them is from the company employees. One year of service and terrible results. Dont fall for it. Read up on how you can built your own credit up and save your money.

They send *** unprofessional letters to the co. who gave you credit with misspelled errors and typos. And the company responds saying that everything is accurate and they go back and forth with no results.

Waste of time and waste of money. Dont fall for it.

I was referred to them by a car dealership in an effort to help get on a path to repair my credit. On their initial contact, they told me the first fee was $99.99 and then it would be $89 per month after that.

It wasn't explained well, and I think that's part of their scam. My understanding was the extra $10 initially was a setup charge.

I agreed, initially. After really considering what I would be paying for, I decided against it. WITHOUT DOING ANY WORK, they charged me for a service they did not provide.

I just contacted them to try to get my money back, as I need it for bills, and I ended up speaking with an Erika Merrill.

Her explanation was that the $99.99 was a "setup fee" and did not include them sending out letters, etc. That's what the $89 monthly fee is for. I told her I needed a refund, and she said they couldn't do that. When I told her that it wasn't explained correctly, her retort was, "You agreed to the charge.

It's not my problem."

She continually used, "That's not my problem." If you've ever worked in customer service, you would know that this is not a phrase you use with customers. She refused to tell me who the owner is, and she said that I can send complaints to her. She couldn't seem to understand that I'm not stupid, and any complaint sent would stop at her and not move up the ladder to her boss.

I'm currently working on reporting the company to the BBB, and I'm writing reviews anywhere and everywhere I can. I'll also be researching to find out who the owner is.

Erica, if you're reading this, get out of customer service, NOW.

Waste of your time!!! The BBB represents companies not us the consumers.

More or less fraud. Once in awhile they'll side with a consumer but that's not the norm. You'd be more effective if your time you spending on BBB was spent spreading this companies bait and switch and outright fraudulent claims and promises to the world so everyone knows they just put to take your hard earned money. They probably just a couple people answering phones and charging credit and debit cards all day and send out a few generic letters so they can continue to rob consumers without offering a legitimate service...

any one can do what they doing and no one is stopping them except consumers posting bad reviews. Thankyou for warning me as I was about to call this KIM from credit unlimited back and sign up!!!?

My husband and I were signed up for 3 months, the only thing they got off our credit was issues I could have called and had removed (items over 10 years old, and something on his was listed twice). Neither of our credit scores have improved.

I asked for my money back that was just billed, and was told that they (post) bill. They do not, now, my checking account will be overdrawn again because it took me calling everyday for 3 weeks to finally get in touch with someone.

Credit Unlimited Rocks! They are Very Good

I hired Credit Unlimited 3 months ago and they jumped my credit score over 100 points They removed all my Medical Bills and a Judgment I had from 2012. This company is very good and I didn't have to do anything.

I highly recommend this company to anyone needing better credit.

I was skeptical at first as I've tried myself many times to repair my credit and it only made matters worse for me.

I was scared that if i were to try and fix it again that it would back fire on me. My first month i had about 8 items deleted and was very excited.

I was able to buy my first house a month ago and it wouldn't have happened had i not used this company. Thank you Credit Unlimited and my neighbor John S who referred me to this company.

We paid for their service for several months and ultimately were not happy. One of the reasons we signed up with them was their "money back guarantee".

When we called to cancel, we were jerked around, put on hold and transferred for 45 minutes before being hung up on. Just found out their "money back guarantee" is only after a year of high-priced payments, and they say they will refund you "your money or equivalent service", these people are high-priced *** artists, save your money and do it yourself.

I made 4 months of payments and the only advice they gave me was to open a secure credit card, and they removed 1 item from my credit! Thieves and liars, don't throw your money away!

This is such a fake and comment! First of all, it's impossible to be on hold for 45 minutes with their phone system.

I repeat, it is IMPOSSIBLE to be on hold for 45 minutes as the phones kick back to a representative after 1 or 2 minutes. Credit Unlimited does NOT tell people to open up a line of credit. Credit Unlimited fixes people's credit; they don't tell people to acquire more debt. I'm curious if you even know what you (so called paid) As i'm 100% positive this is a false Slanderous claim at Credit Unlimited.

I know their prices are of the least expensive of the top 5 credit repair companies to work with. If people really want to know how terrible Credit Unlimited will treat you, just call them a call and you'll see for yourself how quick this claim is wrong and you should not be on this website. What company do you know has better prices? This post, is either done by the owner of this website, or, another competitor in the credit repair industry.

I doubt this comment will be posted as the owners of this website, are probably behind every slanderous lie or bad claim against Credit Unlimited. Or, it'll be posted and removed within a day or two.

You should be sued for making up such sites that are untrue.

Credit Unlimited told me exactly what the reviewer has stated in their complaint (except for the 45 minute hold part). I had called after 3 months of service without 1 item being removed to cancel service and was told by a manager to open 3-5 credit cards to raise my score.

He sent me an email on some cards I could get with my score of low 600's. After my signing up with the service my scores have dropped and 3 of my good paid loans have now stopped reporting payments, I don't know if this is just a coincidence or not yet. It just seems odd. I have very few lines of derogatory credit and some paid collections that they couldn't get removed in 4 months.

The promises made before becoming a client and delivery of results after receiving payment are quite far apart in my opinion. The response to this review is similar to the phone conversation I had this afternoon with the manager when I called to inquire about my account and ultimately to cancel my account. I had asked about the guarantee mentioned to me at the time I singed up for the service and was told that wasn't their policy by the manager. After canceling the service and ending the first call with him, I checked the website and saw the warranty that states after 12 months if the have limited results they will refund some of the money.

I called back and left a message.

Later that day I received a call back from the same manager I spoke with earlier and he stated that the company didn't have a money back guarantee but instead has a warranty on their service and he would be more than happy to continue the service till the 12 months expired and may be eligible for a partial refund. This information is supplied at the time of signing up and on the website.

I am not part of any credit repair group. However, anyone who has tried to repair credit knows it does not happen over night, it sometimes takes month to properly remove an account.

Also, note that you started an account on the 23rd of a month, the 1st of the month is not the start of your plan. They were in the right to charge you the month of July since it started the 23rd of June. Understand no company would have discounted you because you didn't use the whole month.

Credit repair is hard work, it is much easier with the help of a knowledgeable company backed by a company. I'm sorry you feel indifferent but I know many of people who used this company or Lexington Law Firm and had success with less stress of doing it a lone.

My credit is in shambles, they offered help

And that is exactly what happened! They helped!

I know this is pissedconsimer.com but I typed credit unlimited in Google and found this site. I have been a client of theirs for about 4 months now. I've seen my score skyrocket. And I've seen it drop as they continue to do work.

But the great part about it is, when it dropped, it never got lower than when I first started and it is gradually getting better from day one. Most of these complaints are about the auto debit feature.

I've had my credit card declined from when I changed bank accounts, they've been great to work with and I even skipped a month of payment and they still worked my case.

Overall I have had a great experience these last 4 months.

Credit Unlimited - Service Cancellation Review from Moyock, North Carolina

I canceled this service on Ma 14 for my husband and the account rep said I would still be charged on May 15 well they changed me on June the 15 and said they would not give me back my money and that they never spoke to me in May I have phone records to prove them wrong then the first rep said he spoke to me but he canceled my account that was already canceled about a year ago. Then he put me on the phone with his supervisor and she said she would not resolve the issue and I didn't speak to anyone in Ma and there aren't any notespecially so she would not be fixing the issue and there was nobody else for me to speak to in the company and that was it.

This company is a rip off and needs to be put out of business and on top of it they didn't fix my husband's credit they made it worse after I had fixed it myself there were to accounts that we settled on and the said they would get them removed from my husband's report well every time they did a dispute the company report it repeatedly to the credit reporting agencies and lowered my husband score drastically from a 700 to 586. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF.

I have had this company fix my credit and was amazed on how fast they were able to remove so many negative items off my credit history. I have done a lot of research and it doesn't seem possible that a credit repair company can make your husbands credit worse?

When you send a dispute to a Credit Bureau; it absolutely in NO-WAY possible, can ding your credit score. Who or what company was dinging your husbands credit because cause it could not have been Credit Unlimited.

You're incorrect Currentclient14, about the fact that disputing an item doesn't impact your score. The thing is, once Credit Unlimited disputes something and if it doesn't get removed, well that Creditor is then going to re-report it up to date.

I currently have Credit Unlimited and this is one of the concerns I'm having on top of many, many other issues. This company seems to have an excuse for every concern that's approach from the customer and I can't put my finger on it, but to me theres something phishy going on with this company. Everything they are telling me that they are doing, is the complete opposite that all 3 of the Credit Bureaus are telling me when I call. I've been established with Credit Unlimited for almost 10 months now and all they seemed to have focused on, are the petty collection accounts, instead of the important accounts.

It's a money thing. They know that if they remove a repo and a few Credit Cards, that IM going to be happy with my score at that point and I would cancel service and of course they will lose my business. However, if they continue to waste my time taking hospital bills off then they know my score will take years to get where I want it and think I *** enough to stick around.

This company might fool some folks, but I told them I want to see results yesterday, considering the amount of money I've paid for almost a year and if I don't, then there will be a bigger problem and I'm already prepared for that battle. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY, PLEASE!

Debited my account after I terminated their services.

On Mar. 23rd my wife and I signed up with Credit Unlimited for help repairing our credit.

They insisted on debiting our checking account for payment each month.They did not provide any improvement by July 1st so I terminated their service by e-mail. Their e-mail address is guaranteed valid on their web site. I followed up with a letter and copy of the e-mail. On July 23rd, they debited our account for $69.95 each for the full month of July.

When I asked for a refund of the unearned portion, they refused.

I sent them a Notice and Demand for refund and to date have received nothing. They did not improve our credit score, and, in fact, our score went down because the banks retaliated to the dispute sent them by Credit Unlimited.
