Offered cancellation if 30% 'restocking fee' BUT have decided this is too much and will instead take delivery of item.

I ordered 2022 Subaru Forester rock sliders on Feb 10, 2024. At the end of February I called to find out the status of my order but was told (only then) they were not in stock and they were waiting their next factory delivery ...

and I was also told 'probably the following week'. At this point I was not happy I had to take action to find this out.
Two weeks later I contacted Crawford again (previously I had talked to support person Melissa who at this point had apparently left the company) and was told by new support person Sarah the parts were in but they were now waiting for a shipping box and one last screw.
A couple days later I get a UPS notification saying the shipping label had been created and my account on their website show 'Fulfilled'. We are now at the end of the 2nd week of March.
On March 18 I call yet again and apparently they are still waiting for the shipping box. I informed Sarah I would like a refund as these rock sliders will no longer work for me given my wife is now needing knee surgery.

She told me she didn't have authorization authority but would run this up to someone who did.
On early March 19 - AGAIN, I had to contact them - Sarah tells me that her CEO would not refund as this item had been 'made to order'? I then reiterated that these will no longer work for me but they should be able to ship these to the next customer PLUS I offered to pay 10% as a fee. She again told me she would have to pass this on to the CEO who was out until later that afternoon. I later messaged that I was a return customer having previously bought their Subaru Transmission Skid Plate.
The next day I again had to call to get an update and was told the CEO was not willing to refund my purchase.

Apparently, Sarah had not mentioned my being a return customer nor that I had offered to pay 10% to enable a refund.

She promised to talk to the CEO one more time and to notify me by the end of the day.
NO SURPRISE ... no message from Sarah!
CRAWFORD PERFORMANCE:
- Took my money on the order date Feb 10
- Never updated me on status even though the part of 'out of stock', nor anytime after that
- On March 13, updated my online order details as 'Fulfilled March 13, 2024' when they printed a UPS label
- It's now end of day March 20 and they have yet to either ship my rock sliders order NOR refunded me 100% or even my offered 90%

Wtf

I bought the front and back bumper guards during their 2023 Black Friday Sale.

The front guard required sawing through the OEM skid plates, despite the site stating no modifications were required.

The rear guard interfered with the safety sensors, causing the brakes to lock up when reversing.

All I did was politely and patiently ask and wait for information, but after being blown off for weeks, I posted negative reviews in various places, which prompted juvenile threats and name calling via email from their egotistical CEO, Mark Schlachter, but he did offer a refund after I placed a BBB complaint (to which they're not accredited).

You'll notice that my review (or any others, that I can see) doesn't show up for these items on their website, despite their claim that they've sold hundreds of these!

I suspect this tactic has been used again and again.

Shameful that this unprofessional company is associated with Subaru.
