I have been a good customer for years and I feel like they have lied to me on my wifi speed for those years.
Unable to fix virus on computer
for last three days I have used tech solutions service to rid my computer of a virus-the next time I open the computer the virus is back
They said it was a common virus so I us their automated computer
fixer-nothing fixed. What is so frustrating is the wait is from 10 minutes to 22 minutes today-three days of that. All techs are very nice and say they are sorry a lot but no fix
Today I asked for a supervisor and got one from the wrong dept and he
sent me to the usual tech dept I have been connected to for the past three days. I am not a technical person that is why I bought this service
Is Cox so big now they have forgot what their mission is, customer service
Preferred solution: contact with a tech who is more skilled than the everyday tech

HORRENDOUS. started the call with internet service and hung up without it.
now I have to pay for a tech to visit to clean up the problem they created. stay away!

On November 6th, 2014 a Cox Tecnology Solutions truck drove across our yard from front to back after a big rain. Didn't ask permission and we do not have Cox Cable. They got their truck buried
and called a friend to come and pull
them out. Now two are stuck. 3
hours later they get out. It's now
February 9, 2015 and damages was 8, 000.00. Cox Technology Solutions have went as far as
sending their people to estimate
damages. They agreed of the
damage price. Now we are told it's with corporate office. Come on..... Nov. Dec. Jan. Feb. How long does it take..... you do have onsurance for such damages I've been told by your officals. Just please get our yard fixed before spring fains. We have pics of before and after damages.would lije corporate to finalize .

Yea! I've had some one snooping around in my computer and I know this because I caught this person when he or she didn't know I was there.
I caught this person remotely using my credensials as his or her own. Now my privacy is and still is compromised. This person used A cascading style sheet to fool me. So when I clicked on an app or A tool like maccfe or something, It was not what it appeared to be.
It was a phfiser using a CSS program and now it was time to call a professional to fix the problem. So I called Cox and they hooked me up with tech solutions and I thought my problems where over.....Far from it. They where just beginning, .Nothing is suppose to get through there Firewall but (BEHOLD) I SEE something, remotely moving my files and programs to set me up again and (Behold) some of my apps are held by programs so I can't access them conveniently when. I need them.
And this person boldly showed me that he has access to my credit cards by showing me an image of my credit card .And with my information .... this has been going on a while now but what I'm Saying is Screw it, I've been compromised and none at Cox's gives a sh.....it. No one will take me serious.
So I do this, Bad review with no gilt, and sometimes I think it was there techs doing it being that I had A firewall. Up!
Not set up right
On 8/2.14 someone from cox came out to set up tv/internet and could not
figure out how to do it, he was here for a long time and may have messed up my smart house wiring(that is one of my main concerns. I had an appt. for another techl to come out on Monday 8/4/14 to fix the problem
between 3 and 5pm. no one showed and I made at least 8 phone calls without a response.. Please HELP me.....The time is now 6:45 PM

Spoke with Peter Sim, appointment #15861****. He corrected an MacAfee problem for me, and did a check and clean on my laptop.
He was professional, knowledgeable, and quickly fixed my problem. I have had Cox Tech Solutions for over a year and have never had a problem with the service. Thanks Cox Tech Solutions for good service and professional service men. I would recommend this services to friends and family.
This is like having your own IT department at a reasonable cost. Most others service charge amounts which prohibit using them, not Cox.

This service is a total scam. Without going into the horrible details I now have to bring my BRAND NEW computer into Best Buy to do a complete re-install!!!!
After dealing with Cox Tech Solutions my computer has MORE issues than it did before and due to safety concerns I may have to purchase an entirely new computer. I found out from a rep from Cox that they are a THIRD PARTY COMPANY that Cox is contracting out, also know as Plum Choice (Look up the complaints against them! After two weeks on the phone I was finally able to speak with the legit Cox company 949-240-**** (Do not let them transfer you to CTS!!!)and they are trying to resolve the issue. Although I still have to bring my computer to Best Buy and re-install everything.
This has been a total nightmare. Please call Cox if you have issues and speak to managers. Don't just get credit for problems that are unresolved. DO BOTH!!!
COX NEEDS TO KNOW WHAT KIND OF INCOMPETENT AND DISREPUTABLE COMPANY THEY HAVE CHOSEN TO PARTNER WITH.
If I need a new computer I will take the laborious efforts to find a new phone, cable and TV service!!! DON'T BE THEIR NEXT VICTIM!!!
Cox Tech Solutions Phone Computer Support is Horrible!!!!
I paid $99 to have a Tech 'take control' of my computer to fix it. They crashed the hard drive and ruined my computer.
I was told a Senior Tech Representative would call me between 5 and 6 PM to discuss. No one called. Every time I phoned them, I got someone in a different state who knew nothing about it. Although promised, no notes were made in my file.
When I called today to follow-up, I was told that it could be 24-48 hours before a Manager could call me back. This is horrible service. They need to send their technicians for more training and certainly more training in customer service. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone.
In fact, I would tell people to run as far as possible!!!

On Dec 31.2011 my desktop computer was working fine other than I could not get the screensaver to work, so I called Coxtechsolutions.com, which I pay 414.99 for their services, and talked to a Customer Service Woman on the East Coast in the Boston Area, told her my problem and she said she would take care of it, and she took control of my home computer, what ever she did she blacked out my computer, and was unable to use it, I called COX back and told them of it, they refused to send a tech to my home to see what the problem was unless I payed them a $200.00 Service Charge, which I said I would not do, it was their fault and they should provide the service call FREE, the said no, COX also told me that I needed to take my computer to the Repair Shop, or purchase a New Computer, which you know is expensive. They offered no futher assistance, contacting me nothing what so ever.
I was so pissed being without the computer on Jan 2,2012 I know nothing about a computer when it has problems, I sat and played with the computer, and got it working again by myself, I am 70 years old, disabled and have Multiple Sclerosis, I told COX this, which made no difference to them.
I have the complete COX package which is a little under $200,00 a month, point being when there is a problem, COX will do nothing to correct it, I will soon be looking for another provider, but they are all the same, who can you get Customer Service from with out paying a hugh service call fee........Anyone considering having COX Communications as your provider, BEWARE. I live in Las Vegas, NV and YES I am PISSED.........
Lousy Coxtechsolutions Customer Service
My Desktop computer was working fine, other than I could not get the Screen Saver to work, so I called Coxtechsolutions.com and spoke to a lady in an Eastern State, she said no problem she would take care of that, she took control of my computer, which I pay $14.99 a month for their services, She some how BLACKED out my computer, and was told that I needed to take my computer to the repair shop, or purchase a new computer, COX would send no computer tech to my home to see what the problem was, unless I payed them $200.00 for a Service Call, which I said I would not do, since their tech caused my computer to go dark, they offered no assistance what so ever, and this happened on Dec 31.2011, So I am 70 years old, disabled and had no clue what to do. On Jan 2,2012 I was so pissed, I played around with the computer and got it working again myself, I am Old School, and don't know anything about the repair of a computer, COX Communications brags up their great service, I for one disagree with that, they give *** customer service, I have the complete bundle with COX, and hope soon to quit them and go with another provider, They are all the same, promise great service, then when you need it, they between the lines, tell you to stick it up your butt...COX Communications Customers BEWARE, I live in Las Vegas, NV........................

The 9.99 premium I pay COX is the best and MOST knowledgeable Techs I have had help me! With that said something HAS happened to this department?
COX has changed something , these people taking the TECH Solutions calls now are NOT educated in ALL problems... They are NOT actively trained in LISTENING!
COX does NOT have ALL there departments connected to each one of us and our unique computers and individuals..I felt I was totally neglected...AND I NO LONGER GET A ITEMIZED BILL, could it be because they don't want me to know what I'm paying for?.. I have asked many times now for a complete bill, like I used to have..nothing has changed..Cox should always be the front runner to ALL internet Companies!!!!!
Your computer doesn't have a virus. You're getting a pop up scam ad from the internet.
There isn't anything wrong with your computer, or the service, you just don't know what you're doing.
Stop clicking on stories from Facebook about little foofoo dogs with mohawks. It really isn't THAT interesting.
