Worst experience- Warranty

I bought two patio table covers. The Elite version with 3 year warranty.

It started falling apart in a year. I started my claim with pictures and they responded saying the covers in the pictures are not their covers. What a joke.

Those ARE the covers they sent. They have closed my warranty claim.

The fabric used in the product does not match any materials we use, and the product labels clearly indicates that it originates from a different company. We understand your frustration, but it is important to clarify that we can only provide warranty support for products directly sold and manufactured by Coverstore. While we are committed to addressing valid concerns regarding items we supply, in this case, the evidence shows that the product is not one of ours.

We take customer satisfaction seriously and would have been more than willing to assist with any issues related to our products. However, it is not feasible for us to honor a warranty for a product that is not part of our inventory or manufacturing line.

Poor quality and customer service

My wife and I decided to order a a custom sail for our deck. When we received it was way too small and couldn't install with hardware provided.

We reached out several times and they made it impossible to communicate. They finally responded almost 2 weeks later, First they asked for pics of issues so we sent them. Then they wanted videos and now they want more videos of us measuring the sail as if they didn't know the measurements already. For the price of these sails they could do better with customer service.

The quality was poor to put it simply. We ended up having to buy longer and better hardware due to company not helping us but sail still saggs and stitching is braking. Seems are coming apart. They claim that they will exchange or refund money if poor craftsmanship well guess what the craftsmanship was absolutely awful but They have refused to help us with this and instead are trying to make it very difficult to deal with.

Will never purchase or do business with again. Will report to the better business bureau and do all I can to let everyone know how terrible they are. ALSO NOT MADE OR ASSEMBLED IN AMERICA! LABEL SAYS MADE AND ASSEMBLED IN INDIA.

Tip for consumers:

Don't bother in purchasing anything from this company.

Very expensive and too risky because they won't help or make it right if order is incorrect. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

I was charged $189.67 for my order on 5/01/22. The order arrived on 05/04/22 another charge from this company also apeared on my credit card on 05/04/22.
I called and was told they did not what happened or why.

They would send it to the accounting department for review, I should hear back from them in about 48 hours.
I expected an email regarding the issue and did not receive one, so I called again the next day.

Again I was told it would go to accounting and a refund could take up to 14 days.
I received a refund on 05/14/22 the refund was for 78.25 they still owe me $39.13
this was their mistake, not mine. And they still did not send any email acknowledging this issue and their mistake.

Poor experience

The Cover Store made a custom firepit cover for me. They did not make the cover to the required diameter and they now refuse to make a new cover, that is the correct size, at no additional cost.

This is clearly their mistake but their ongoing refusal to acknowledge the manufacturing error, and then make it right, should be a warning to anyone in the market for a custom cover. Poor Experience Poo

Was Ripped Off By Cover Store

Terrible. I am not one to spend the time posting negative reviews about a company, but this was a horrific experience and I hope to save others the nightmare of dealing with this company.

To sum this disaster up, covers came in wrong and did not fit. We called the company and nicely tried to explain this and they blamed us for the errors. After multiple phone calls and wasted time spent measuring many times, we have given up. We paid for a product that was defective and the company was 100% at fault and refused to make good on another cover.

Hard to believe, but customer service and product quality control at its worst. Stay far away from this company What a shame.

The customer had worked with a designer in their area who assisted in obtaining their measurements to order Custom Covers for multiple items. We were made aware that one of the items did not fit properly.

Since the customer paid the designer directly and not Coverstore, these types of situations are typically handled by that party and we advised the customer to contact them directly. It seems they came up empty-handed with their efforts to resolve with the designer so they left us a negative review. The review caught our attention and we reached out wanting to learn where the issue may have been. The designer captured the initial dimensions provided by the customer via a Facetime call.

Regardless of where the error was had (if the incorrect measurements were given or the designer made an error), we requested the customer remeasure with some guidance and advised we would replace the cover as a courtesy. The new dimensions provided were different than what was initially ordered and after talking it through, the CX was certain these were accurate. After the courtesy replacement was sent, the customer contacted us again. They indicated the replacement cover fits perfectly, however, due to weather conditions in their area, the cover had now blown away.

Although adverse weather is out of our control and we do not replace covers when this happens, we made additional efforts to offer a replacement with a substantial discount. The customer was still dissatisfied with the outcome and posted multiple reviews.

The cover I ordered was the second cover I purchased the first one was perfect the second one was cheaply made and very inferior..I wanted to return the second one and purchase one like my first order and was told custom orders cannot be returned.. the second one was not worth the money I paid and am willing to buy a cover of the same material as my first order

At the end of summer 2019 I purchased outdoor covers for my grill, prep table, chairs and a table from this company.

My particular location can get very windy. A few months after I purchased the covers my neighbor called me to tell me that my grill cover had blown off.

I went outside and found it torn in several places. Apparently it could not handle the wind.

I contacted the company in September to file a claim for warranty coverage. I sent it three pictures that they requested along with an explanation for submitting a claim.

A couple of weeks later I received an email telling me that it was not their cover because of the color and some other garbage reasoning. I protested vehemently because I know where I purchased the cover.

I compared the item # on my invoice it was different from the item # that they currently stock. The item # associated with my purchase was listed as out of stock. I found it sold in Europe on Amazon but nowhere else.

This is nothing short of a ripoff. I've dealt with companies from Israel, China, etc.

when I had issues with their products and those companies have been honest to a fault, unlike this American company (I'm ashamed to call them an American company).

I would not purchase another item from this company and I do not recommend them. They are grifters.

I ordered my Bird Bath Cover (which broke the other day) and I wanted to send it back - Oh no, someone little girl told me I had to return in 30 days - however, on your website it says with Covid it had been extended to 60 - I am a senior citizen - not stupid like these young people might think - I want to send this back - credit card adjusted and be done with this place - I will NO LONGER recommend or shop here!!!

Sherry H, I have the same story, this company doesn't honor their warranty claims. They had to gall to say that I did not buy my grill cover from them.

I purchased almost $300 in outdoor furniture and a grill cover. They claim the grill cover did not come from them. I found the grill cover on their website saying it was out of stock. Today when I searched for that grill cover the link was removed.

This is a shady outfit.

Contact your credit card company to find out if they cover these situations. I'm going to contact consumer affairs and any agency I can find to see if I can shut them down.
