  • - PCV valve replaced for $795; piston rings/new engine suggested; cost exceeds car.

Purchased 2015 Volkswagen Jetta. Was told to bring back in a week for oil change.

Brought in and was told oil stick was dry. Drove another week and oil light came on. Took back in and oil cap replaced. 2 weeks later oil light came on again and timing cover replaced.

After this oil had to changed every week to 2 weeks. Approximately 2 months later oil and engine light came on. Was told to have towed to Right One Auto in Huntersville for repair. Oil pressure switch oil filter changed.

Started misfiring and using oil again a bout 2 months later. She Kia was notified they refused to do anything else,so took to Volkswagen of Gastonia and paid $795.00 for PCV valve replacement and was told it this didn't take care of it then piston rings and New engine would need to be put in. Told engine would cost more than car.

Currently driving car and putting oil every 1-2 weeks. Oil costs 10.99 Qt.
