Dissatisfied with product and service
- - Topper rubbed the cab backup light, causing noise.
- - Moving it back half an inch fixed the noise.
- - Fiberglass coating is scratched all over the topper.
Herd nothing from country side covers, I don’t know if they have been notified from pissed consumer or not. Also have not herd from ARE toppers.
Next week I will check with the attorney general. And or a lawyer.
Didnt Drive the truck much, noticed a noise in the roof of the truck, brought it to a Dodge Ram dealer thinking that the noise was coming from the roof? They found it was the topper was rubbing on the roof backup light on the cab roof. They moved the topper back 1/2 and that fixed the noise. Then I noticed that the topper had scratches all through the fiberglass coating.
Brought it back to the dealer, Countryside Covers, they said to buy a new Cab light and gave me some touch up paint. Weather was not good, never did paint it. Noticed the topper wasnt closing properly in the back. Then was always leaking water from the latch, once again I didnt use the truck much.
I still only have 16,000 miles on it. Brought back to Countryside Covers. They said again that I should buy a new light . And said that it was my fault that I covered it up with a topper.
I told the Owner that I should not have to pay for a new light for something that I bought new from them and installed by them. I asked why they didnt order the topper with a notch at the top for the light for my 2021 Ram 2500. They said that Ram changed the light without telling the Dealer and Are. I once again said that they were wrong for ordering the wrong Topper.
What can I do, Im just the Customer? Help
