Trying to place an order and can 't get to the continue to review screen

Tried for several days to place an order online to pick up and take advantage of the 15% off offer. Eventually called and the store couldnt help me. Called the main number and the person I spoke with spent about a half hour trying to figure out how to do it. No luck AT ALL! I have placed many online orders in the past- easily and successfully. Whats going on???

Terrible customer service

Ordered a couch, lead time was apparently 7 days. It's been over a month. Couch comes in two boxes. They claim the delivery company has both boxes, call them. Deliver company says they only got one, call cost plus world market. This has happened 4 times now over the last two weeks. Cost plus - you can't call because they never pick up before you need to move on with your life. If you get someon, they provide the same worthless information, say they'll have someone from an "escalation team" call. But they never do. You get the same worthless information and support via Chat or email. These guys are the worst. Ever. Avoid this company like the plague. How do I give a ZERO stars for a review?

Bad customer service

I was In The store for about ten minutes. An employee came over and asked if I wear a mask.

I told her I have a medical exemption and she said then I have to order online and your going to have to leave. I said ok, do you have the same deals online? She said yes and then I left. I looked online and you do not have the same deals going on as in the store and I would also have to pay for shipping.

If wearing a mask is mandatory in your store then it should be mandatory to wipe everything down after people touch things(merchandise). Seems impossible and unrealistic. Which it is. If thats the case the store shouldnt be opened cause people are touching the same items.

I was very excited to see all the cute inventory and was looking forward to the candles. How can I smell candles online? Overall I felt like I was being discriminated for my medical condition.

Thank you for your response. I would love to go back in world market mask-less.

Missing item and poor customer service

I ordered a piece of furniture for delivery. Delivery was scheduled and time came and went. WM was not helpful in finding the item nor offering help. Second delivery was scheduled and it came and went. WM again was not helpful, only to say that a supervisor would call in 24 hours. Say that again? You said that last time and the supervisor NEVER CALLED. Now I am trying to get my $400 plus dollars back.

i have visited this store many times in person that is why i felt comfortable ordering on line because of the pandemic we are currently experiencing. they have very nice merchandise. the lack of customer service and communication is very poor.the "time of delivery" was not the issue since i know there would be some delays but the item was never delivered - it was instead delivered back to the seller (in Virginia) because "it was damaged in transit." i hope they make good on my order because i do like their items and would go back to shop at the store - i just will never feel comfortable ordering on line from them ever again.

I placed my order on April 16, 2020. On May 1, 2020 I received an email indicating that the order had been "delivered" but I have never received my order - after further review of the tracking I realized they put delivered but the item was in fact returned to the seller in Virginia because it was damaged in transit. it is listed on the tracking message as such. however on the order it says delivered. I have been calling and creating "cases" on their websites about concerns regarding my order since that day for either a replacement or a refund. i have yet to receive ANY communication as to either. I have created 4 "cases" as they call refer to it - and i have sat on "hold" with customer service for over 35 minutes on 3 different occasions during my work day and nobody ever came to the phone. i am left with no other resource but to file this complaint. I would like this addressed as soon as possible as i have been waiting almost 2 months for this chair or for a response from World Market. i understand delay in delivery from the original order date due to the Covid19 pandemic, however, this behavior is poor customer service on the part of World Market.

Ordered an item thinking it was the full set. Then emailed the company multiple times to cancel the order within 24hrs. No response. Tried calling multiple times and it hangs up automatically. Almost as if its blocking my phone number. However, I was charged for the item immediately. They charge your debit card fast but can not seem to reply to my multiple emails.

Over the last few weeks I've sent emails &;;; made numerous phone calls to your customer service. Yes there is Covid we are dealing with, however as long as your online catalogue is operating to take your money, your company has the responsibility to handle each and every inquiry that comes in. I should NOT have to go weeks without ANYONE from your company to handle my issue. Your site has increased the price DURING my checkout and I ordered something weeks ago and no one knows where it is!!!!!!!!!!

Never received my order and can’t get a hold of a person at the company

I ordered a table and chairs from world market back in mid April. I received the table a week later and now its June 9th and I still have no chairs. The chairs cost me over $800. My husband and I have spent hours on the phone trying to get through to customer service and cant get through. I have also sent many emails to customer service and still no help. Not to mention now we have moved to a different state and no longer live at the address they are supposed to ship to. I received an email on May 7th saying they shipped and my paypal account was charged. At this point I need my money back or the chairs shipped to my new house but how am I supposed to go about this if I cant talk to anyone? My next step is to write a letter to the Better Business Bureaus after that I guess get a lawyer? I cant afford to let $800 go.

Ive tried to contact customer service for 3 weeks to do a return. Im on hold for hours and still no one actually picks up my call. Ive tried emailing and no one answers my email even after 3 weeks. I have no other recourse except to call my credit card and stop payment.

Never lose receipt

I bought a knitted over coat and the item is clearly defective. The armholes are way to tight and catch under the arms. So I took it back with bag and tag still attached. They absolutely refused to take it back. Not even a store credit or even exchange. I would have spent the money anyway. I just spent a ton of money there. -and in all that never returned and item. Well they won't get my business ever. !!The manager could see it had never been worn but he just read the policy and walked away. Terrible service both cashier and manager on duty.
