Corwin Honda Make the sale forget about the consumer

I contacted the dealer with my concern. They said they would pass it along.

I have heard nothing back. They obviously do not care.

January 12 2019 this happened. it's 2019 you would think they should care about the customer. Long story. I went in to look at a vehicle. I did drive it and look it over I thought carefully. Also went by one owner car fax and description "Must See" "Amazing Condition" . I made the purchase a day later. Truck was put in receiving bay and after paperwork was done noticed several large paint chips. Not seen before and not shown in pictures of truck online. No idea where they came from. (now thinking it was areas covered in bondo and they popped off when put inside from the outside extreme cold). Eric Taylor sales manager said he would fix at his cost. I said ok since paper work was done and maybe I did not catch it. I left and drove across street to detail business to have it quoted to be detailed. They pointed out every panel had been painted had bondo and overspray everywhere. Me not being a body person just thought is was paint wear and that is why I took it to the detail shop. They also pointed out the fenders were rusting through the paint and it was a bad cover up job to hide it. Wondering where the listing "amazing condition" came from. Less than hour later I went back to the showroom to make Eric aware of the issue. His response "well you signed the paper work it is yours now" we are not Luther and have the 5 day 500 mile offer. I left and did not make a scene. Called several people and was eventually told that day they would take it back. I agreed before this if they took it back I would purchase a truck from them. I went back to the Honda location and then was told I "Had" to purchase a truck from there lot. They only had 4 available. The selection was very limited. I asked if I could choose from any of the other Crowin lots and was told NO. That is BS and I know it was them only wanting there credit for there lot sale. They obviously do not care about me and I eventually had to settle for a truck 10k higher than what I came in for. I am now having to possibly sell this truck to get into something more reasonable. This could of been done that day if they cared at all for there customers. We even 3 months earlier bought a 2018 new Honda Odyssey from the same lot. That of course did note matter to them. Corwin Auto group will never get anymore business from me and I will go out of my way to let others know this story. Stay Away. I guess that is why they are only Two Stars. If anyone know Tim Corwin email please send it to me.
