Corpus Christi Catholic Preschool Mobile Alabama

AI Highlights
  • - Staff described as sullen, burnt-out, and angry.
  • - They gossip and do not engage with children.
  • - The program is mismanaged; I pulled my kids out.

This preschool in Mobile, Alabama is a more of a warehouse and less than a preschool and daycare. The women on the staff are sullen, angry, burnt-out, and defiant.

They gossip about their fellow staffers and the parents. They just babysit. They don't get down on the floor and play with the kids. They just sit in their chairs and watch the kids while the children beat and scratch each other.

The kids will be fighting over the toys and the daycare worker just sits there doing nothing. She's doing nothing with the kids because she's sitting there text messaging on her phone. This daycare is just terrible. I am so glad I pulled my kids out of this program.

I just wish that I had some idea how awful it was before I enrolled my children in the program.

The K-8 program at the Catholic School next door is a really good program. It's just that this daycare on the same campus is definately mismanaged.

Corpus Christi Catholic Preschool is a wonderful school. My kids loved attending school here and now they're all grown up going to the school next door. This complaint was probably written by an incompetent daycare worker who got fired.

Corpus Christi Catholic Preschool is a pretty good preschool. If they had more money, maybe they could hire a few more staffers to help. The poor day care workers seem so exhausted and overwhelmed by all those children, no wonder they can't sit down on the floor and play.
