Unprofessional, Dismissed without even a call
My husband and I put down a deposit to go to Italy and requested an extension to Portugal and Medjugorje, and we were told that would not be a problem. We were put in touch with the 'Leisure' leg of Corporate Travel.
We were guided through some questions, and we were clear that we were not sure what we needed re: guides, drivers, etc. and were reliant on them to help us. Joe DiFranco then emailed, saying we were not traveling "high end" enough for him to spend time on us. I emailed back letting him know I had no clue how he concluded such, as he never even contacted us to see what we might be interested in.
He apologized and set up a call for 2 days later--and then never called. 2 days after he should've called, he once again emailed me saying he was too busy to take our business. I have never experienced such unprofessional service in my life.
Arrogance is not something I would choose to work with, so we are happy we moved on. Another travel agent is happily working on setting us up with personal tour guides, drivers, hotel, and flights--and the first time we called.

Corporate Travel (American Vacation)
No full disclosure; when first purchased; staff member stated that there was the Hilton and Marriot to choose from, when making booking there was no Hilton or Marriot, also 250.00 dollar booking fee, and some other 200.00 dollar fee, plus the additional all inclusive price. If your going to offer a great deal then on the onset make customer aware that the average booking and completion of this deal is $XXX.XX; then I can decide to continue with sale or run if that is out of my budget.
What they say if its to good to be true! paid 400.00 dollars; no Hawaii all inclusive package with additional 250.00 and 200.00 dollars booking fee and peak season fee and then when they found one wanted another 579.00 dollars; asked to speak to supervisor and of course she on vacation till next week.
These companies are rip offs do not do business with them and don't buy a package. SCAM
I will eat the money now and book my 25 year anniversary getaway(honeymoon) directly with the hotel of our choice.
Total pakage for 4nights / 5 days = $1,379.00 I can eat well and get a nice hotel for 1/2 that. $ 690.00

Preferred solution: Full refund
Did not refund my money
I was contacted by Corporate Travel to buy the Preferred Traveler package including the hawaii and Jamaica trip for $498. I thought this sounded reasonable.
So I bought. A while later I was contacted again and told that they had a better deal and would cancel the first refunding my $498. The second one was a special including all of the perks of the first deal but the price had gone down to $298. I was very skeptical.
But, they do have persuasive sales people. I bought into it. I would take a few days for the first transaction to be finished and the money put back into my checking account. Well, this is several months later.
They have the money still for both payments.
I would like the $498 back into my checking account. Can you help with this?
