Corkys Pest Control

I'm leaving this negative but honest review on Caucus Pest Control. As a disabled veteran, I recently paid them almost $1,300 to get the underpinning of my mobile home and its wiring done.

I've noticed a smell, similar to something dead, coming from under the house through the heat ventilation. Today, I went outside and took these attached pictures because they are nesting near the house. I don't feel bad for leaving this review, especially considering that I receive a check only once a month. This caused me to fall behind on paying them the large upfront amount and the monthly installments, leading them to cut my service.

Despite reaching out to the manager, named Dave, regarding the issue, he has not returned my call. Sadly, I've faced one-way communication with Caucus Pest Control. The living conditions are unbearable - I can hardly breathe and cannot turn on either the heat or air conditioning. A very kind secretary tried to get Dave to answer my call, but to no avail.

I feel awful as a disabled veteran, left by Caucus to live with the rats. Eventually, after catching up with my payments, they resumed their service.

Despite the repairs to the underpinning and wiring of the mobile home being under warranty, it does not affect my regular monthly or quarterly payments. Thank you for hearing me out, and please pray for me.

Trouble with Corkys Pest Control,

1. authorized and gave CC info for $175 to cover 1st 3 visits and begin monthly service...

they charged me $244(?)

2. when I called they "quite by accident" mentioned they would check my recorded call and get back to me - that was the first I heard of that and immediately requested a digital copy for myself stating I was now unsure of the quoted monthly service either being $59 or $69 a month and since they overcharged me the initial payment, I now wanted to confirm the monthly. --- they agreed.

3. Next interaction was a voicemail stating that they listened to the recording and I was correct and they had refunded me the $69 difference.

I immediately called them back and again requested the digital file for myself for the same reason stated above... wanting to now confirm what I was quoted from the initial sales call.... Elizabeth (their customer service rep) with a raised voice asked WHY I needed the file since they already refunded me the money -I started to explain again and before I was finished she flat out told me she was NOT going to send me the file... I told her something to the affect of "maybe I should subpoena it from her, she began yelling at me and hung up.

That was on Thursday Feb. 28th, Friday Mar. 1st I received a voicemail stating they had cancelled my service due to non-payment, yet they already had my CC on file for the service I signed up for ???? and had already previously charged my card without issue.

I have saved this VM from Elizabeth. The following day Sat. Mar. 2nd I called and spoke to Veronica(?

- have it written down somewhere) and explained I wanted a full refund and very specifically why, she agreed and completely threw Elizabeth "under the bus" on how she handles customer service, yells at customers and does what she wants without regard to policy.

5. Checking my bank statement I did NOT receive a full refund but instead they charged me $69 and refunded the difference - I am assuming this is for the initial visit / service. If this is true

A. the deal was for 3 pest control visits in a 1 month period, I had 1 of those

B.

I had one visit and they picked up their traps and charged me without giving the results of the period the traps were set

C. Is this not a violation of Privacy?

Breach of Contract? Discrimination?

We had our mobile home sprayed in May 2013 and by July 2013 we STILL had a spider problem inside and outside. My 93 yr old grandmother was bitten while sleeping!

I called Corkey's on July 10th and was informed that I would have to pay for another spraying!!! They should be charging us again because Their product failed! We have used them before and referred many others to their company and we should have been given a courtesy call. Instead the woman told me we should sign up for their 8wk program.

Well according to our records it hasn't even been 8 weeks!!! We will not be using their services any further and we will inform others that we referred to cancel also.

Had this mediocre pest control company fumigate my home for termites the company will not be responsible for fumes killing plants,however the fumes did not kill the plants ,but the reckless workers did!

they stepped over plants broke limbs,threw one of my plants down with no care - they were like gestapo militia.I called the manager of the termite unit and was told there was nothing he could do.I feel I should be compensated for their fecklessness.I paid over a thousand dollars for this lousy service,PLEASE DON"T EVER HIRE CORKY'S PEST CONTOL. I AM PISSED!!
