I would like a response as to how long the boxed wine is up to par after the boxed dates i.e. if it says boxed in April...is it still good in December/January?

It was the color of dark.apple juice and very sour tasting.

I looked at the date on box and it stayed to be used by January 2022. It's February 2024 so how was this wine even allowed on the shelf?
